Sorry I tried to look this up but it says my link is unique to me and not to share. I had to register for the event. Maybe you can still register? I'll see if I can find it listed on Yale's website.
On behalf of GMAT Club, I will interview Yale adcoms on admissions today at 10 AM PST. Join in and/or suggest some questions!!! I will have some questions about interviewing
souvik101990 -- Not sure if they will provide an answer, but any chance you could ask if it is common practice for applicants who were previously interviewed not to be re-interviewed? I know it happens, but is this the default scenario?
I actually sent in an email to the adcom who gave me feedback and she mentioned it’s quite common for reapplicants to not be interviewed. I don’t know if it’s default but i’m happy to ask them.

Can you ask what is the most forgiving reason for a low GPA?

I guess this is what she answered for tackling low GPA. I hope you were on the webinar.
1. High GMAT score. 2. Recommendations from employer that states that you are good in quantitative work. 3. Promotions in jobs.
I heard only these 3 though. I guess you can watch the recordings in Youtube channel.

Yeah I was on for this part it just made me think of a different question which was how they viewed a low gpa due to immaturity vs working through undergrad vs other things
I think from what I understand is that unless you give a reasonable explanation, I don’t think they’ll assume stuff. But they went on record to say that a high gmat does more than compensate for an undergrad performance years back.
That being said, what did you think of the conversation?

It was very helpful! I missed the first half but I will go back and re-watch it. Thanks so much for taking the time to put it together!
