Overall I am happy with the prep
I used Target Test Prep (TTP) for my GMAT prep in February 2024, focusing on both verbal and quant, and I was very happy with the results. I improved my score from a 455 on my first mock to a 675, landing in the 96th percentile overall. Specifically, I scored in the 98th percentile for Data, 89th for Quant, and 79th for Verbal.
UX: The platform is easy to navigate, making studying efficient. TTP covers all the GMAT topics comprehensively, so if you go through the entire program, you’re fully prepared. The content is robust, offering plenty of both quantity and quality.
Learning personalization: I appreciated the ability to create custom tests and tailor my study plan. This flexibility helped me focus on areas where I needed the most work, and it was easy to track my progress along the way.
Customer Support: The customer support at TTP was outstanding. They responded quickly and were always available to help with any questions I had, which really stood out compared to other platforms.
Overall: I would rate TTP 9.5/10. It is a solid choice for GMAT prep, offering great content and top-tier support. Highly recommend if you're serious about improving your score.

nothing, it's great
I had a limited time to prepare (3 months) and I was looking for a course that would fully cover the exam material. I chose TTP because it had many positive reviews. After using the free 5-day trial I loved this course and I bought it.
The most useful part of the course for me was the questions bank. While studying you solve hundreds of questions, and this is what really prepares you for the exam. I had concerns about time per question, and I was slow at first, but I kept focusing on solving the problems as the course had recommended and my speed improved on its own.
Overall, I loved this service and I can recommend it to anyone taking GMAT.
Strengths:
Thoroughness, Organization, Amount of Practice Problems
Would make the product better:
DI questions are a little bit too "tricky" as compared to the official questions.
TTP is thorough and well structured. The sheer number of practice problems you end up doing throughout the course is mind-boggling, and in my opinion, that's what makes it stand out. By the time I finished my 5 weeks of study I'd done almost 1000 Quant problems, which had me feeling very confident. The problems (especially quant) are very representative of the official test questions, to the point that the real test felt like just another practice quiz. After scoring 615 on my first official mock, 5 weeks later I scored 715 on my first try on the official test, higher than my second mock where I scored 695. I would absolutely not have been able to do this (especially on such a short timeframe) without TTP's mission based course. If you're someone who learns by repetition and values a structured plan for study, TTP will get you a high score. If I'd been able to spend 3-4 months with TTP, I'm confident my score would've been even higher.

Strengths:
- Breaks down mathematics to its basic foundations, which massively aids those students that have struggled with the subject throughout their life.
- Offers personalised support to students that are trying to boost their score
- Offers a high degree of similarity in its practice questions relative to the actual GMAT
Would make the product better:
- None, amazing work
TTP helped me boost my score from a 605 in practice attempts to a 665. I’ve always been weak in mathematics from a foundational perspective, yet TTP was able to overturn this weakness courtesy of its meticulous quant and data course outlines, and practice questions. Additionally, the fact that the organization’s diagnostic exam shows you an indication of your capability rather than an actual score really shows the energy the team has put into thinking how to provide their students with the least stress-inducing course experience.
If you’re thinking that you’ll get a better monetary deal elsewhere - trust me, the value to investment ratio with TTP is far better.
Strengths:
The product really emphasizes repetition. The product also offers an essentials need-to-know cheat sheet that is extremely helpful in breaking down the exam into its core components that one may then practice on.
Would make the product better:
I was satisfied with the product through and through.
The ability to break down an exam into its core components and then practice those allows for marvelous increases in speed and accuracy towards taking the exam. The speed portion allows you to spend more time on difficult questions, courtesy of the numerous practice questions that emphasize repetition, but also as your accuracy improves, you feel yourself gliding through the exam. This is courtesy of the numerous ways you'll see the same problem or question framed such that one may be able to recognize the inherent pattern within to apply it to a multitude of different scenarios and problems henceforth. It becomes less of an exam and more of an exercise with sufficient practice with TTP's product
Strengths:
Comprehensive Curriculum
Focus on Core and Hard Skills
Personalized Support
Innovative Error Tracking System
No Gimmicks, Just Real Preparation
Attention to Detail in Test Prep
Would make the product better:
Add More Videos Explaining Answers: The videos that explain the answers to questions are extremely helpful, so providing more of these would enhance the learning experience and help students better understand the material.
One-Click Access to Full-Length Mock Exams: While the custom tests are great, having the option to easily access a full-length, exam-style mock test with just one click would be a valuable addition. This feature would allow students to practice under real test conditions more conveniently.
Increase Practice Questions for Data Insights Section: Adding more practice questions specifically for the Data Insights section would be beneficial, as it would give students more opportunities to master this part of the exam.
Here’s why I believe Target Test Prep is the top choice for anyone aiming to improve their GMAT score:
1. Balanced Focus on Core and Hard Skills
What I loved about TTP is their balanced focus on teaching both the essential GMAT content and valuable hard skills like attention to detail and critical thinking. This isn’t just about acing the test; these are skills that are invaluable in business school and in your career. TTP’s approach prepared me for the GMAT and helped me develop a mindset that will benefit me in the long term.
2. Truly Comprehensive Course Content
The TTP course is impressively thorough, covering everything from fundamental math concepts to advanced verbal strategies. But they don’t stop there—they also pay attention to the little things, like suggesting a motivating soundtrack for your drive to the test center. It might seem minor, but it’s these small, thoughtful touches that add up to make a big difference. TTP understands that success often comes from a series of small, consistent efforts, and they make sure every aspect of your prep is covered.
3. Genuine Support and Personalized Guidance
Another thing that sets TTP apart is the genuine support and care from their team. I initially thought their support would just be through the online portal, but I was pleasantly surprised when I started receiving personal emails where I could ask questions and get specific advice. The responses were always prompt and sincere, providing real guidance without any fluff. This personal touch really helped me feel supported throughout my prep journey.
4. Smart Error Tracking and Targeted Practice
One of the standout features of TTP is their error tracking system. As you practice, you can mark the reasons behind your mistakes, and TTP uses this data to help you identify patterns and focus on areas that need improvement. This targeted practice approach is incredibly effective because it helps prevent you from making the same mistakes over and over again, which is key to achieving a higher score.
5. Straightforward Approach with Real Results
After trying several other GMAT prep courses that made big promises with flashy methods, I found TTP’s straightforward, no-nonsense approach refreshing. They don’t promise any quick fixes or gimmicks; instead, they focus on what really matters—understanding the material and putting in the work. This honest, realistic approach was exactly what I needed to achieve my goals.
In Conclusion: The Best GMAT Prep Course Out There
Overall, Target Test Prep exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s more than just a test prep course; it’s a comprehensive program that equips you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed on the GMAT and beyond. If you’re looking for a course that genuinely cares about your success, offers detailed and thorough content, and provides innovative tools for continuous improvement, Target Test Prep is the way to go. It is the definition of a product being user-centered. It helps you to organize a syllabus and take you through making sure you learn and check all the boxes.
I loved the constant testing of your knowledge as you advanced through the different chapters.
I tried before another ways to study for the GMAT and it didn't work for me, I needed something to guide me through the syllabus and constantly test me, while being able to study ad-hoc. This was the perfect tool for it
This is definetly a MUST if you are planning on taking the GMAT.

Strengths:
Extremely comprehensive information on all topics. More than enough practice questions to hone in on various areas. Straight forward and organized learning plan.
Would make the product better:
Going through the entire learning plan perfectly will take over 3-4 months even with several hours of work each day. Not sure if TTP would improve have to improve anything with that but just something to be weary of if you want to do the given learning plan.
Target Test Prep has been great for my GMAT journey. I started with a 475 and bumped my score up to a 675 on the GMAT focus in less than three months. There are so many questions for each topic which allowed me to really hone in on topics and master them. I like how they outline a organized learning plan for you with questions for each chapter. One thing to note is that the learning plan will take over 3 months to do. I barely finished my entire learning plan and still got a 200 bump in score so if you are able to really dedicate and prepare a several months to TTP I am positive that you can get an even better bump or score!
Hi Blee,
first congrats on your great score. I only have two Month for the Preparation of the GMAT. Would you still recommend TTP in this case, since you mentioned that the learning path takes 3-4 month, or can this be done quicker than suggested by TTP?
