Calling all 2020 Intake MBA Applicants
Creating a thread for all those who are planning to apply this year. Introduce yourself to fellow applicants; Tell us about your educational background, career achievements, motivations for doing an MBA, and ofcourse which schools you are planning to apply.
This thread will show us a snapshot of various applicant profiles, diversity in the application pool, accomplishments of applicants, and reasons for pursuing MBA.
Once you post here, we will notify you about any events - chats, webinars, student interviews, etc. - about your schools happening on GMAT Club.

Thank you Narenn for the initiative, here's a snapshot of my profile:
1. I'm 30 years old, male, Indian.
2. I've secured 630 in GMAT, planing to retake it in the next few months.
3. I graduated from a private engineering college in 2011, (CGPA- 7.32). Studied Electronics & Communication Engineering.
4. Post MBA I'd like to join a development consulting firms.
5. I'm targeting mostly Indian Business Schools programs (full time one year MBA).
6. Professional Experience- Worked as a software developer for two years, then joined a social sector fellowship program as an educator. After completing the two years fellowship, I joined a not-for-profit firm. It has been three years since then.
I wish all the 2020-intake MBA applicants a great time ahead ~ "Future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams".

My name is Aalekh and I am from India. I am a 25 year old male.
Academics:
Work Experience :
Reasons for pursuing MBA I want to switch into the consumer products industry with a general management perspective. Though I initially started out as a project manager, I later realized that I have some inclination towards building great products. I am the kind of person who would't want to keep any stone unturned until an amazing product with an amazing brand appearance is out in the market. I also have long term plans in the F&B sector in India, which is yet to be explored. I would like to share more details on this later on.
Schools that I am targeting - Darden (Why? Case Studies!), Ross(Why? MAP. Go Blue!), and ISB(Why? Feels close to home) in R1. I have other reasons as well. I am still figuring out my other schools, but I have written McCombs, Marshall, Fuqua, and Tepper as my other choices. I'll be writing my GMAT very soon.
Anything else? - I am active President and Manager of Royal Vikings Football Club (R.V.F.C) registered in District Football Association, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Life is unpredictable and I have learned from a legend on GMATClub that "The best test taker or in general the best in any field is the one who embraces the uncertainty".

My name is Aalekh and I am from India. I am a 25 year old male.
Academics:
- GMAT - Yet to write
- CGPA's(Out of 10) 6.64
- Enrolled myself in International School of Entrepreneurial Leadership (iSOEL) : Duration 6 months. 3 cohorts of 21 days.
Work Experience :
- 3 years as a Product and Project Manager in IT firms that deal in fantasy sports solutions (think Dream 11, DraftKings, FanDuel) and mobile application developments. Have worked in 3 companies to date.
- 3 years in my startup that I co-founded when I was 19. This was during graduation so it won't count in total work ex.
