Congratulations and a great video. Marty sounds like the man!

Would you say that your Prep before January 2019 was pointless, and your improvements only started to occur once you tackled TPP & Verbal with a different view? Like you would have still achieved a 710 if you started from that point on January?

Also where can I find your study blog?

It wasn't pointless. Think of it as Darwinism - we must adapt to survive. I merely went through evolution. When you go at something for so long, something needs to mould, change, or stick. Albeit, this level of thinking takes some serious and regular introspection- constantly questioning what you are doing.

As Ray Dalio says: "PAIN + REFLECTION = GROWTH"

Similarly, I failed 6 times at the GMAT and constantly made mistakes along the way - on the day of the exam I got 2-3 easy SC and RC questions wrong LOL... I initially **** myself, but I moved past it. My mind was just in the zone and I said to myself "Nothing will get in the way of me getting my score".

After I constantly failed, I reflected on the experiences, then grew each time. And that i why I succeeded.

I will say that my approach prior to January was inefficient and not right.

Logically, you must learn a concept, then do tons of questions on that concept and achieve perfect streaks of consecutively correct questions starting from sub-600, then 600, then 700 level difficulty. This method will require coaching and its something that MartyTargetTestPrep introduced to me, then when I started working on the method, correct me if i'm wrong here Marty, but I think I was leading by example among your students lol...

If I were to go back in time and tell myself the approach I now know, then I'd most certainly achieve the score in a shorter amount of time. But you know, hindsight is 20/20.

Definitely hit up Marty if he has time to take on people.

Makes sense, all that is good advice and I will begin to utilise the streak method. Congratulations again! I look forward to video two.

I don't want to annoy Marty just yet as I am still early in my prep, but prices for tutoring are way outside of my budget anyway :(

Yes, definitely, Dan. I have showed a number of people your records of your streaks to show them how to train.

Congratulations for achieving the dream 700+ score. Your story is one of the most inspiring one's in recent times.

Also this comes in at the right time when we need more inspiring stories such as your's.

Whenever i need some motivation to continue with GMAT Story , i used to look up to inspiring debrief's and journey's of fellow aspirants for motivation and thanks to you i got another inspiring journey to look upto to understand what it takes to get into 700 club.

PS:
Thanks for making those videos. They are really helpful.

All the best for your application journey.

Thanks my man. Its never a matter of 'IF', but always a matter of 'when' it will happen.

You gotta have the mindset of a champion to get there. Tell yourself 'no matter what happens'. So many times when I hit rock-bottom, I failed, and I fell into the pavement, so I had to learn to catch myself and pick myself up again. A lot of people want a 700+ score and everyone is able to achieve it, but they just need to be able to withstand blow after blow and have the intestinal fortitude to persevere.

Well said.

My first attempt did not go well and i am finding it tough to get into full fledged preparation for second attempt. But after seeing your debrief, i understand what it takes to stay in the fight.

Thanks

Hi there! I watched your videos, read your documents and saw the excel file you came up with.

Your sharing was really very honest and raw. I could identify with your experiences. I picked up some useful tips here and I am going to try them out. Hopefully, I can do better in the verbal section.

All the best in your applications!

Congrats mate!
That is a huge feat. Seeing your chain of GMAT scores in several posts, I really respected your resilience and wondered when this would end successfully. Wow, and this is the day.
Good luck on your application mate.

Congrats mate!

I am really happy to see that your journey has come to a very positive conclusion.
In addition, the story is especially close to my heart as I have had similar struggles with Quant that have also be remedied by TTP.

I´ll keep my fingers crossed concerning your applications and if you have any questions concerning LBS please feel free to reach out.

Best regards,
Chris
