[quote="Tooswolle"]The update is both on the VIP page and the original Consortium application. Did anyone have a problem clicking on the Consortium enrollment form? I'm at work so idk if we have a website blocker or if it doesn't work.

The enrollment form worked fine for me. It's an electronic form.

I missed it the first time but on the offer letter the word "form" is actually a link that takes you to the enrollment form.

Membership but no fellowship; weird thing however, is that I haven't even been accepted into any CGSM schools!

I hope this means that I will be receiving good news from either Stern or McCombs.

Anyone else on the same boat?

Guys, I wanted to ask if you would choose Yale SoM or NYU Stern if you had no scholarships at either?

My immediate goal after the MBA is to work in consulting (how else am I going to pay the 200k in loans) with a long term goal of working in the social impact/entrepreneurship space?

Thanks!

I'd probably go with Yale because it is a higher ranked program with a well respected name, and the cost of living in CT is probably significantly lower than in NY. You'd probably have a lot more entertainment options in NY though, if that sort of thing is important to you. I don't really know what the strengths of each program are though, so you'd probably want to consider which is best for the career path you intend on taking.

Congratulations on your acceptances. If your ultimate goal is social impact I'd go with Yale. That's their "niche" after all. Rankings have been trending In the right direction and Yale is well respected, they also place more into consulting (granted that Stern is more finance focused, they still place well though) - those are My 2 cents. Even in my own case, deciding between Stern, Darden, and Johnson, I've come to realize that the program you choose will not make or break your career so go with your gut and where you think you'll be the most happy. As with any program, it will come down to what you make of it, and if you're generally happy where you are, you'll make more lasting relationships, absorb the material better, and have a better transition back to the workplace, i.e. Most ROI. Good luck!

Does everyone get membership if they applied through the Consortium and get accepted to one of the schools they apply?

Question: Consortium fellowship covers full tuition and mandatory fees. Does this include the deposit? Will this be refunded?

No- if you don't meet the CGSM criteria for membership (aka your membership essay was weak), you will not receive membership despite your acceptances to member schools.

Congratulations! If I were in your shoes, I would choose Yale without a question. Given your long-term goals, the program's improved ranking, and New Haven's low cost of living, I think it's the better option. Good luck with your decision!

Congrats to all the admits. I'm just checking in on this thread as I was so active last year but struck out on all of my schools. Have fun at the OP.

I did my enrollment form a while back but they haven't provided any guidance on CGSM online or OP stuff yet.

Yea I filled out my enrollment form, and then it provided a link to register for OP. I haven't done that yet. I'm traveling from the west coast for OP and thinking about flying in a day early. Anyone else in the same boat?

Interesting. It never gave me a link to register for OP...possibly because I did mine so early. I guess I'll have to follow up on that.
