For the booth moments essay, is it a presentation (ppt) OR essay? Will admissions accept an essay with a few photos in them? I'd like to do an essay, but if permitted I think putting a few relevant photos in my essay would be nice.. Any thoughts? If any admits did this, your replies would be super appreciated!

Completely fine to do an essay with photos in it. Many people have done it in previous years and have received admits.

"How many times have you received a total GMAT score?"

I'm a bit confused with this question, mainly because I cancelled one of my exams...

Exam 1: accepted the score, but did not send to Booth
Exam 2: cancelled score
Exam 3: accepted the score, sent to Booth

Can anybody advise me on this?

Also, in the instructions, it also mentions: "Please have your official score report(s) sent directly from the test provider." Does that mean I need to send my Exam 1 score to Booth as well (despite the fact that the score is lower than that of Exam 3...)? I'm very confused :dazed

You do not need to count the canceled score, so your answer to "How many times have you received a total GMAT score?" is 2.

You do not need to send your exam 1 score. That score appears on the exam 2 report along with your exam 2 score.

I did an essay with pictures in it last year when I was waitlisted (with much lower gmat though) and this year I did a power point but basically it was an essay with a different paragraph on each slide. Go with whichever way allows you to best express yourself and your story.

Hey all - looking for some perspective on the text fields in the application.

In the Employment section, there's 700 characters for "Job Description" for each employer/position - should this be a description of day-to-day duties or should this be focused on accomplishments, like in the resume? Or maybe a bit of both? :) Curious to know what others are doing!

apologies if this has been asked before.... but does anyone know how long it takes for Booth to list your GMAT score report as "received"?

I sent my scores 2 weeks ago but my application checklist still lists it as "awaiting". Will my application not be reviewed if this isn't received by the 3rd?

I went with job description and day-to-day duties.. specially since there's a field outside for major awards etc.

You should be fine with self-reporting scores, and your application will be reviewed with those.
Generally schools need the "verified" official scores at the time they offer admission.

Booth recently sent out an email specifying that all decisions (interviews/dings) will be sent by Jan 26th.
Generally, they start sending out interview invites (by email / through portal) the Tuesday or Wednesday of that week. So it may start on 23rd/24th Jan and will continue up to Fri,26th..

I think you're fine. They only need you to self report when they review. However, they'll need your full GMAT score report before acceptance.

Cutting it close, are we? ;) Unless Booth is different from the other schools, I'm pretty sure you're fine with just the unofficial scores. Hopefully someone corrects me if I am wrong.

I did. Thank you. Unfortunately, as a reservist with only 2 years of active/mobilized time, I don't qualify for Yellow Ribbon. Good to see Booth is helping out vets though.

Thank you a lot. I did some digging on their website - it does not say they have to receive the official GMAT score report to consider application COMPLETE... a relief here.

Another problem though. I am in Mountain Standard Time zone, which is one hour later than CST. When I hit submit and paid online, it was extremely close to 10:59pm (11:59 CST). Now it shows I submitted on Jan 04.... does it mean I missed R2 deadline?
