Can anyone speak to whether a Skype interview is a disadvantage? I want to interview in-person, especially since I haven't been to Minneapolis yet, but it's tricky finding a flight and taking days off work. I could do it if it was REALLY necessary, but it's hard to make a judgement on the matter because I'm kind of unfamiliar with the process.

EDIT: I live in the US if that changes anything. I live in Florida though, so it is quite a journey to get up to Minnesota.

Doesn't matter... You can do a Skype interview as well. It won't hamper your chances if you explain clearly that the school matters to you through your responses.
