I just heard somebody say that international students have no chance of getting into CBS if they apply for regular decision. Does anybody know if this is true??

Posted from my mobile device

Definitely not true, I'm an international student who applied RD and got an acceptance.

Hi guys, on the portal is the application status supposed to change from completed/submitted to 'under review' before we're supposed to hear back on the initial decision?

Also are interview invites sent out only via email? Anyone got interview invite on a phone call, by any chance? Thanks

Got ding from Columbia for the third time yesterday.

Irony is that I received the email from Columbia while I was out for drinks celebrating a close friend's admission. Didn't want to spoil her party so couldn't even tell anyone. Gotta do that now.

I had a bump in my GMAT score, promotion at work with increased responsibility, more international experience and clear goals, making my profile competitive. Or so I thought..

Good thing is that NYC would have been a very expensive place to live.. :)

Guessing you are a little old coming up on 11 years of work experience. Can i ask if Columbia seems to be one of your main targets and you've applied three times why you didn't do ED?

I don't recollect that the status ever changed. It will continue to show submitted, payment rec'd.
