If one interviewed during the "open interview" period in September, can they still expect a status change? (And is it possible that the status change would be a decline?)
Good luck to everyone! Usually the invites come out between 12 and 1 PM EST. At least they did last year for R1 invites.
Also, people who don't get invites don't automatically assume a ding or WL. It's rare, but I know someone at Fuqua who didn't get an invite, but later got one about 2 weeks before the decision date. He quickly set up the interview and got in 2 weeks later.

Your status won't change until the decision date. At least it didn't for me
