most of ppl who gets rejected donot update their status and further they offered very few seats in round 3 may be just around 100 or 120 .

True, we- at the GMAT Club acknowledge that. However we try our very best to-
- Request users to update their admission status,
- Change the status ourselves based on the data provided. (Yes, moderators can do that)

The sample representation is still better than any other GMAT marketplace/forum out there, IMHO.

Let us know how we can improve on this. :)

A summary by e-gmat on 2019 intake (class of 2020). My key takeaway from the entire discussion-

"The fact that a number of candidates with scores below 700 have also been considered for interviews shows that even candidates with low scores stand a chance if they are able to work well on other parameters of the application process."

What is a good GMAT Score for ISB?

Hey winisamus7, congratulations. Could you kindly share your interview experience here->

https://gmatclub.com/forum/isb-204/inte ... brief.html

I'm certain that this'll immensely help the candidates next year; good luck! :please

Hi Anil,

I know it must be a tough pill to swallow. I am sure I would have been thinking the same had I been rejected.

I would suggest that you try and improve your gmat score and also whatever personal improvement you can manage in the coming months could definitely be a contributing factor.

With that said, I am sure you will find a way to push through. As the quote says " Try and fail but never fail to try", so do give yourself another chance.

Cheers.

Hi,
It's already 11th March. Has anyone heard back from the admissions committee yet?
I am an R3 candidate waitlisted without interview.

Well a pragmatic mind would say that the journey is over but a rejection letter would definitely help rest the case.

Hi,
As you rightly said the chances are slim. At this stage the college is just having very few seats to fill, that too on account of last minute changes in admit plans by prospective students.
Best, Abhijeet

Hi guys just a honest question. I had 680 with 5 year exp and got rejected in R3. I can surely improve the score but should I apply again next year as next time I would have to show personal improvement and I am not very sure how much personal improvement I can show in just 6 months from now.

I kind of feel my ISB dream is done. Hard to take this rejection.

Hi Anil,
Rejections hurt! Almost always. Along with it, I would also say, don't give up on your dreams that easily.
Since you don't exactly know the reason of your rejection, you may end up knocking on the wrong door for long. There are multiple ways through which you can actually show improvement before the next application cycle.
I know the feedback provided by B-schools is not that helpful and I would suggest that you should approach a professional who can help identify the weakness from your application + essays and also be able to provide you with an action plan to move forward.

Best,
Abhijeet

Hello Fellas,

Hope you're doing well; a quick question- did anyone on this thread (R1/2/3) receive an admit call this week? Just want a confirmation. I guess this is it- the end of ISB PGP Admissions (2020 Intake) Class of 2021. My biggest takeaway- "For 2021 intake (class of '22) please apply in R1".

The mail mentioned that for waitlisted candidates the last date for admission offer as March 20th . Has anybody received offers from the waitlisted lot ?
