I'm curious to know how others are approaching the Table of Contents essay - video or written format?

Unless you already have a brilliant idea, conceptualising and executing a video would be a tough one at this point, don't you think? There are prior year videos on Youtube though, if you want reference. I would suggest not to invest too much time on this - this is just a fun element that can make you the first among equals. But a better ToC wouldn't make someone with lesser GMAT/quality of work-ex/etc. get admitted over you. Just my 2c.

I agree with you. I am not great at video editing, etc. so putting together a video wouldn't be the best option for me either.

Hello All, Quick one if someone could tell. My recommender was uploading the responses for the GMAC common LoR format. But there is also an option of uploading a traditional LoR. Are the recommenders supposed to upload both the common form responses + traditional LoR or just either one would be enough?

URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR CONSORTIUM APP: For those applying to Cornell through the Consortium, did you interpret the required essay as choosing one essay between the Impact Essay and the Table of Contents? The Consortium app for Cornell says You can upload a document or type an essay, but not both. However, when I upload my Table of Contents, the application tells me I still need to submit the Impact Essay for my submission to be complete. Anyone else experiencing this?

Or have I completely misinterpreted the prompt and have to answer both the TOC and the Impact Essay?

In for R1.

For ToC I thought hard about doing a video but I feel like there’s almost no margin for error there. I then moved onto a PowerPoint but it didn’t really give me much freedom, ended up with a pdf format that I was really happy with.

Hey guys,

I am planning to apply in R2. I was just wondering about the turnaround time. Does it vary from R1 to R2 and how long is it in general?

I submitted my application for R1 - looks like the applications are still being processed. Does anyone know approximately when interview invites will start being sent?

Looking at last year's thread and Livewire, they should be pretty close. I think last year there were a few that started trickling out on the 18th of October, and then kept being released from there.
