I'm interviewing on the 31st, very excited. Any tips or suggestions? I reached out to a Johnson alum and he gave me a few pointers. Only thing is that I'm interviewing during their spring break so there won't be any students on campus!
Mine was a pleasant and relatively straightforward interview. Just have the staples down: Why an MBA now? Why Cornell? What do you bring to the community? What are you hoping to gain from this experience?
I was interviewed by director of admissions Gail Wolfmeyer. She was great. Easy to talk to, the conversation flowed, we joked... it was genuinely an enjoyable chat. I asked her a bit about her background and through that found quite a few commonalities to discuss. One question that she asked was, "what should the admissions committee know about you that did not come across or fit into your application?"
I'd recommend visiting Sage Hall the day before your interview as the Cornell campus is quite large and you... probably don't want to be late!
Let me know if you have any other questions. Don't worry. The interview is nothing to stress about as long as you prepare.
