How many people from LEAD in late February have heard back from Johnson? When do we expect the rest of the R3 applicants who interviewed to hear back? I know Destination Johnson is not until April 20th (significantly later than other schools' admit weekends) - Do we think some people won't get decisions until mid-April? Deposits at other schools are due before Destination Johnson...

I was at the late February LEAD event and have not heard back. From what I've read, Johnson isn't great about communications around admission decisions. Take it with a grain of salt, but on LiveWire applicants are reporting that they are logging into their portals, which are randomly updated with their decisions, without getting any kind of notification from the school that a decision is ready.

Hi guys, International applicant from the Jan round. My status has changed to schedule interview but I have not got any follow-up email. I have mailed the admissions office but have not received any response from them. Can anything be done now? Is it too late to interview for the Jan round?

When did you send the email? The school was close due to the snowstorm.

Hi Everybody,

I had my Cornell Johnson interview 3 weeks ago and still wait for a reply.
I know it can take up to 4 weeks, however my admissions profile still has the status schedule interview.

Is it normal that there is no update of the status between schedule interview and final decision. Any experience (maybe from someone who already received a final decision)?

Should I contact the admissions Office again?

Many Thanks!
Cheers

Ah alright. I emailed them a couple of days ago. Before the initial notification deadline.

In with some scholarship funds. I interviewed during the LEAD event on 2/23 and 2/24 and received the email a few minutes ago.

I think you should contact them. If anything it shows interest. I did the same. To put your mind at ease I interviewed in Jan and I am still awaiting a decision.

Hi KostEY,

Happy to give you any insight I can. My interview was on campus - so hopefully it is also useful/applicable to a Skype interview.

It was incredibly casual. More so than any other I've had. People had a mix of admissions personnel and students. Really friendly vibe. Questions were not tough - just like an open conversation but using your resume to structure the order. So talk me through your background, explain your job, opportunities you've had to lead people, strengths/weaknesses, why Cornell, why now?

And that's it. Nothing tricky. They just want to get to know you. This was my best interview by far because I acted like myself (flaws and all).

PM me if you have any questions!

b'hatzlakhá!

Hello everyone,
Any March round applicants here who have received the initial notification? The website mentions that initial notifs will be sent by April 5th, and my application status is still Under Review, so just getting a little impatient :|
