Does anyone know what the instructions to appeal a rejection is? Do we just send a letter of intent to the general MBA email? The website has updated the wording to: "by April 30" but I haven't received any emails clarifying the proper procedures.
Hi, I replied also in the waitlist thread. In case you haven't seen, I sent an email to adcom last week and they said they will roll out shortly the process, they haven't really given me any detail though.
I would expect a new announcement or an email these days.
The deposit due date for R2 admits is this week. Once that passes, there should be much more clarity on the admissions side as to how many spots they need to fill. That being said, I would expect them to look at:
1) Waitlist applicants from R1 and R2
2) Their R3 applications to get a sense of how much the numbers have increased from normal years
3) R1 and R2 rejected candidates who appeal. This could move up if you are a diversity candidate and they have a need there.
As has been said here earlier, Kellogg has said they will not allow international students to defer. Not sure how that will impact yield / will depend on the stance taken by other programs. If others are more open to deferrals for international students, that would be a strong negative on Kellogg in my opinion.
