I too received the invitation ! :-)

I am attending the Happy Hour on 12th at Delhi, and have my interview on 13th morning. Hope I'll not have hangover next morning! ;)

Does anyone know if all invitations to interview invitations have gone out? I thought I read something about hearing by 2/2, but I haven't heard anything and my application status on the portal is still "ready for review." Wondering if that is probably a bad sign.

I was interviewed on 23rd Jan, 2018. My interview was decent, all the questions were standard. Please find questions below-

1. Walk me through your resume
2. ST and LT goals. Why MBA and why now?
3. Why McDonough?
4. Most challenging experience
5. Time I had to lead a team.
6. My strengths
7. Time I had to convince or negotiate
8. Where else I am applying and why?
9. Any questions I want ask.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if any other info. you need. Best of luck!

Hey,

Questions I was asked:
1) Why MBA? Why now, why McDonough?
2) Short term + long term goals?
3) Walk me through your resume
4) International exposure and how you handled cross cultural teams/people ? Why do you think cultural awareness is important?
5) Emergency situation and how you handled it?
6) A time when you negotiated or convinced someone to get your way
7) A complex situation and steps how you handled it?
8) Constructive criticism and how I handled it?
9) My strengths

I just received an invitation this morning, so it appears as though 2/2 was by no means a final date. Hopefully one comes your way soon!

Hey guys, just trying to put my mind at ease here. Can anyone tell me the time it took from when your application said “ready for review” until you got your interview invite? Also does your status change once your application is actually looked at?

Thanks in advance

They did extend the deadline date by 10 days for some folks. So I believe there is one more week of interview invites. Also the R1 deposit due is on Feb 15th. So there are chances if some admitted folks decided not to attend then you might have a chance to get the interview. I would suggest you keep your hope at least for next two week. After that the chances are very slim for the interview invite.

Regards,
GNPTH.

I'm in the same boat and getting antsy (especially since I've heard back from all my other schools). Mine has been 'ready for review' for nearly 2 weeks now. On the website they do state that they extend interview invitations all the way up until the decision deadline, but who knows.

Mine moved to the 'Ready for Review' status on 1/16, and I just receive the interview invite today. So, 3 weeks on the dot for me.

Also, the status of the application never changed. In fact, even after receiving the invitation, the status still shows as 'Ready for Review'.

Hi,

I have applied to Georgetown in Round 2 (Jan 5), but haven't heard back from them yet. In how many days does one usually receive an interview call (if the school likes the application)?

Thank you!

Thanks guys, mine didn’t say ready for review until 1/29 so I guess I’ve still got some time.
