No I don’t think so

I did. Had my interview on 7th Feb. Medium was face 2 face. In New Delhi.

When did they send you the communication that you are shortlisted for interview?

Hello guys,

I am a first year student at McDonough as well (Class of 2020). GNPTH is a GMATClub veteran and one of our treasured classmates. Just to reduce a little bit of his burden I am here to help you too if you have any questions with McDonough or MBA applications in general.

Cheers
KM

Hi KM,

Thanks for posting. i am wondering if you can share some advice on the interview process and scholarship opportunities?

Thanks

To get a rough idea about the interview process, I guess reading some latest interview experiences from the following link will help. I will let others comment on scholarship opportunities.

Is it safe to say that for those that haven't received interview invites, it's a ding?

For which round? Round 2 is still ongoing with interview invitations. You can expect to receive an invitation to interview up until the deadline. However, if you applied in R1, I would say it’s a ding.

Round 2. It seems that most of the interview invites are out. Decision deadline is March 26th.

I wouldn’t base a ding based on other people’s invitations. You can expect to receive an invitation to interview up until the deadline. I know someone who received an invitation to interview 5 days before the R1 deadline, interviewed and received an acceptance 5 days later on the R1 announcement date.

The following information is based on the GMATClub's Decision tracker

For 2017, 101 of the 145 interviewed applicants got admission => % of admission after interview invites = 69%
For 2018, 92 of the 135 interviewed applicants got admission => % of admission after interview invites = 68%
For 2019, 55 of the 89 interviewed applicants got admission => % of admission after interview invites = 61%
For 2020, 65 of the 73 interviewed applicants got admission => % of admission after interview invites = 89%
As of now, for 2021, 21 of the 46 interviewed applicants got admission => % of admission after interview invites = 45.6%
