Hello everyone, I received a Video Interview Invitation just a few minutes ago, I applied on St. Patricks Deadline, do any of you can share your experience with this Video Interview? What do this interview means? Do it replace the "normal" interview?

no. i just applied few days before the deadline which was 17 march and received interview invite today.

cannot be a 100% sure but going by past posts it looks like the video essay component of various colleges ( kellogs, boston u. etc.) wherein the candidate is asked some questions from a prerecorded pool of questions and the answers are recorded on the spot.

Long time lurker finally jumping in on this thread. Admitted yesterday via phone call. Anyone going to the admitted student weekend? I'm still waiting to hear back from IU, but would love to know if there are other ladies looking into housing in south bend. Rather get a jump on things now just in case :)

Hi there,

Congratulations! Zoom interview is the final step in the Admissions process. You'll probably be interviewed by someone from the AdCom (Kristin McAndrews, Neil Mangus etc). Expect an interview that will run anywhere between 45 minutes to 1 hour (mine ran for an hour and 15 minutes). The interview itself is a pretty friendly one with questions like "Why MBA?", "Why Mendoza?", "Most challenging situation that you have faced?" etc. It will conclude with the AdCom member throwing a case study / guesstimation question at you. You will be given 7-8 minutes to prepare and then asked to present an explanation for the answer you came up with. As an example, the question that was put forth to me was to estimate the "number of words in all the non-fiction books in India".
Also, do refer to the excellent post by KTandon on the previous page. That should also give you an idea of what to expect from the interview.

Just had an interview with Neil for about one hour (the longest I had so far). Zoom is quite nice replacement for skype, I'd say. For some countries with blocking policy, might become handy.
Now waiting period starts till decision release.
