I hope to get invited as soon as possible and to get it done. As much as I enjoy the wait, I don't like the constant refresh to my gmail app. It sometimes crashes :)

For what it's worth, today is an official MIT holiday. Whether admissions will send out e-mails on a holiday is another question.


The blog actually says "We will send Round 2 interview invitations beginning the week of February 16th," so if today is a holiday at the school, I doubt we'll see any invites today. I expect tomorrow will be the first day, although their language leaves open the possibility that no invites come until Friday.

This morning I checked my online application and it said that it had not yet been submitted, even though I did submit it on time and have a receipt and confirmation. I checked this afternoon and it is back to being complete and being evaluated. Anything to read from these tea leaves?

I suspect the adcoms do this on purpose so they can watch us freak out in the forum and they get a good laugh on their day off. :P

With that said I don't think mine has changed since being completed...

I'm not buying it. I'm sure that one of us would have gotten an invitation already had they decided to start releasing invitations.
It might be that he got called for an interview in the LGO program or something.

Agreed. This thread, filled with strong candidates, would be blowin up if any interviews had been sent.
