Hi everyone! Is anyone else having issues accessing Ross' application link? I have my materials ready but just can't get the site to load since yesterday. Wondering if it's a localized problem or a more widespread issue.

I have been able to open it alright as of 15 minutes back.

My application is done and dusted, other than uploads + a fresh read of my CV tomorrow morning.

Anyone has views on the type of photos the adcom would appreciation? I have a 'candid' photo of mine in a suit, but the background is a little flashy. I am not really sure.

Also, I am assuming the re-applicant essay will go in the Optional Statement (within essays) or Additional Information (independent section)? I don't see a dedicated re-applicant section.

Anyone submitted any documents in the 'Additional Information' section of the application? I find it strange that Ross has an Optional Essay and an Additional Info section. Are we supposed to put our curricular here?

I think most schools have both (or at least the ones I've applied to). Optional essay is why recommender (if not current boss), why low grades/quant/gmat/etc. Basically if you have a really good excuse or something odd needs to be explained it goes here. Meanwhile the additional information might be for new information if you're on the waitlist or certificates and such you couldn't put somewhere else in the application?

Yes thats how I see it as well. I just wanted to know if people are doing anything with this part of the application since Ross disabled the 'Activities and Honors' section.

No. They have mentioned that one can do a self-report or upload an official report but once admitted they (Ross) would need an official report.

The email post submission of application says this:

"You will be contacted by email if your application is missing application credentials. No. They have mentioned that one can do a self-report or upload an official report but once admitted they (Ross) would need an official report.

I connected with the Adcoms on this and they said that I should get the score reported to Ross with 4 weeks of lead time.
The mail also mentioned that the scores be self reported in case I was unsure that it would reach the Adcoms in time of R1 deadline. So, I feel that the score should be reported. Better to be on the safer side, right?

You may self-report your score on the application or upload unofficial score reports. If accepted, official reports will be required. If you take the GMAT or GRE more than once, we will use your highest total score and the corresponding breakout scores in evaluating your application. We do not mix and match scores.
