FROM Simon (Rochester) Admissions Blog: MS or MBA? How Do I Choose?
You’ve made the decision to attend business school—congratulations! Hi Everyone,

I am an Indian and looking to apply to Simon in the current round.

Is it required that I submit my TOEFL score, even If my undergraduate (Engineering) study was in English medium.

From the college website, the following is mentioned for TOEFL requirements:

Test-taker results for TOEFL or IELTS, scanned and uploaded (all international candidates except those who received a degree from an English-speaking institution)

Also,

Is it mandatory to submit the official gmat score via mba.com before we get an admit for application review? or will the unofficial score do for now?

Vijay

TOEFL not needed if UG was in English. Official GMAT score you can send later [after admit].

FROM Simon (Rochester) Admissions Blog: Alumni Guest Blog: Su Zhou, ’15 MS Business Analytics
The following blog post was written by Su Zhou, a 2015 graduate of the MS in Business Analytics program and assurance associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City.  There is a Chinese proverb: “Better to step back and make a net than to stand by the pond and long for a fish.” As part of my job […]

Any R2 applicants interviewed yet ?

Just had my interview an hour ago in skype with an adcom staff.
Blind interview - Only resume in hand
It wasn't like an interview - very pleasant conversation. Basic Q were covered - intro, work exp, why mba, why now, why simon, post mba goals, international experience, behavioral Q's.
Don't think of it as some interview. Be calm and composed and the interview will be a breeze!

Hello guys,
Indian applicant here. Will it be a disadvantage to apply in round 3? I believe most of the seats would have been full now and scholarships, if any, would be on lesser side. Can someone pitch in?
Thanks in advance,

Definitely no harm in Applying.

But yes, the seats for internationals get jammed by early rounds, especially Indians when most applicants belong to Early, R1 or max R2 rounds.
So true, chances reduce, but then, you might be a superhero who no school can refuse.

You best know your circumstances, if sure, go ahead and apply, should be no harm.
