Hi Naren/others,
Could you guys please confirm if all admit decisions have been rolled out already for international R1 candidates? I had my interview on the 5th of Dec and haven't heard back yet. Is there hope still?

Same boat as you; I'm tying to stay optimistic and hoping for an admit but it's probably a waitlist or ding at this point. Hope I'm wrong about the latter.

I saw on the website that it says R1 applications will be notified by by 31 December? Maybe after the date you can contact the adcom? I'm applying for R2 and I hope the decisions will be good as well.

I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic, because I know they rejected some candidates earlier.
So If they really want to reject you, they have done that. No need to drag you out of deadline, which will make rejected candidates more painful.
My understanding is that they just work slow and couldn't finish all the work before holidays.
The process is inappropriate though, they should have sent out emails to notify us that we would hear back by ** that kind of stuff.

I didn't hear anything too...

They only contacted me 10 days ago asking for a copy of my university diploma, they said that was a item that was missing...
I sent to them as fast as possible, but after that I didn't hear anything more...
