The questions I had on the video portion included:

1.) Why an MBA now?
2.) Describe a time you or a group you were working in could have taken a shortcut but did not.
3.) Are people only driven by self-interest and fear? Agree or disagree.

Thanks JLAR2017! I am sure you killed the video essay! :)

Did you get time between the questions or it was continuous firing?

Also, any tips that can help keeping calm and doing good? :)

Thanks I appreciate it :-D I definitely rambled a bit on the third question though.

So after you complete each question it takes 1-2 minutes to save your answer and then I believe you have as long as you want before starting the next question. I pretty much just jumped right into the next question though.

To be honest I was pretty nervous but after I did a couple of practice questions I felt as confident as I would be for the video questions. I just tried to take a deep breath before starting each question and I would drink some water in between. Wish I could give you more advice than that but that was my experience in a nut shell.

Best of luck bitspankaj I hope you kill it!

Thanks Souvik! I definitely rambled on the third question but overall I think it went ok. I just tried to smile and at least sound confident in what I was saying haha!

Best of luck with your video questions let me know how they go! :-D

Thanks JLAR. One quick question. Does your app page says that your GMAT score is received by the school?

My GMAT does currently say received. I was reading through the forum from last year though and I saw a few people who had the same thing happen. I remember one person saying it was a non-issue and they still got the interview but it might be worth asking admissions about. How long ago did you submit your GMAT?

My GMAT was on 31st of August. So ideally it should have reached them within a week.

I just had a conversation with the admission office. Apparently, my GMAT official score was with them, but since it was through a different email (my mba.com profile email is different from the one I use for applications), they had not updated it. It's all good now. Just wanted to share if anyone has a similar issue.

Just finished the video essay...
It was soooo much harder than I though :(

I work in the front office of a bank so talking is basically my job. I thought it would be a piece of a cake so didn't practice much. BIG MISTAKE!
I have never had that much trouble articulating my thoughts...

Please don't make the mistake I did... Practice practice practice and practice before you press that button!!
