Anyone who applied on Jan 5th received invite?

I applied on January 5th and received an invite to interview during their event next weekend. I was emailed this invite on January 7th. Anyone else going to the Experience Simon Weekend next week? [E] Though my application online does still say pending.

Yes, i will be attending the event next week. Are you too? Have they confirmed on the interview time slot?

Did you apply in R2? From the decision tracker I see a lot of interview invites in January.

This is for everyone trying very hard not to panic thinning of the outcome of their application.

I wrote to the adcom because my status had not changed either. This is what she had to say.

We promise decisions by March 20th to candidates who have applied for the January 5th deadline, so your application may stay under review for several weeks (or even several months) as there are a several step process to read the application, provide feedback to the admissions committee and then to discuss each candidate. Your application is complete and we will let you know once a decision is available.

So calm down. You have done your bit. You will only make yourself ill with all the worrying.

Saying all that, I still understand what you must be going through.

Hang in there. :) :heart

I’ve checked in Chinese forum about the duration between interview and decision. It varies from a few days to 2 months, so don’t worry too much.

It’s a forum for Chinese business school applicants. Mostly for MS programs.

Every day after Application submission - Interview, Till we get a decision is like a year for me. One of the worst days ever.

I am waiting for Simon's interview invite If I were selected. I have already given interviews for other schools.
