Very conversational majority about background post mba goals no behaviour questions all to the point and lasted around 30 minutes through zoom. Also contrast to previous threads no mention of writing an answer to question in zoom chat box. So I was a little surprised by this.
Overall its all about why simon why mba why now clarification about previous background

How come you had interview via skype? It is so strange, isn’t? And then they chat with you via skype to inform the result? Anyway, Simon it is. You must have been very happy with it.

iceflower for internationals they do zoom interviews not skype. If you see previous interview debriefs simon asks for a question to be answered via text box at end. Also I never said I expect result via zoom so stop making assumptions

It was a blind interview. The interviewer had access to only my resume. I guess it’s a double scrutiny process. The questions were like introduce yourself, why MBA, why Simon, what would you contribute to Simon community etc. They ask you only one behavioural question at the end of the interview to which you’ve to respond in writing in a chat box. Overall I felt as if they were trying to confirm if I’m the same guy who wrote the essays.

aaks very interesting I had a complete opposite experience. Mine was not blind but with director of admissions lady (dont recall her name). She had read my essays and didnt ask any behaviour question and especially in chat box. Thats why I mentioned before. Maybe I was a special one off case dont know what do other think people in the forum anybody can elaborate on their experience?

I was interviewed by Andrew Brayda who is associate director of admissions. He also mentioned that director of admissions, the name is Julie or Judy, was supposed to take interview but could not due to some exigency.

I applied in round 1, around mid October. I haven't heard anything from Simon, neither an interview call nor a rejection email.

Anyone like me?

I've got result on 28 Nov. They would send you an email to ask for a skype call. It was a very short call to inform you that they offered you admission with or without scholarship. The amount of scholarship would be not disclosed until you receive their admission package via post. After that skype call, they would send you email to confirm the admission and ask for your mailing address.
My interview was on 25 Oct. Hope you guys find this helpful!
