I am in a similar situation. My profile is slightly different. Indian, Male, 26. GMAT:710. Want to work into Consulting: Bain/Deloitte and the likes. As far as region goes, there is no hard choice. Dubai/Singapore/India/EU(Switzerland, France, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Milan). What would be a good choice for me?

Congratulations on getting in!

Have you done research with school employment reports in terms of where graduates end up? In terms of industries and in terms of geo location?
Often they paint a pretty good picture, including hiring from consulting firms. Would recommend you start there and also ask schools about on-campus recruiting and how much that accounts for placements.

Thanks! I have seen their career reports and on paper HeC Paris seems to be stronger than Esade. But, I am not sure how much does the on paper thing actually come to in real life. That's why I am confused.

Yes, there are sometimes different reality of on paper vs. elsewhere but in general all schools try to make themselves look as good as possible so the reports tend to be apples to apples. Easy way I found to pick schools by is Student Profiles - see how competitive a program is (admission rate), how high average GMAT is, and that gives you an idea bout the caliber of folks they admit. Then check how it compares to employment and salary reports (this is your audit) - if the more competitive school has higher salaries, better jobs, then it checks out. If it does not, then it is a concern about numbers vs. reality.... this works best with US programs that publish acceptance and yield rates as well as average GMAT/Work Experience figures.
