Job satisfaction is because of skills required.
Less skill requires due to automation.
So less job satisfaction.

From my understanding the difference between A and B is the fact that B is out of scope based on the conclusion.

Because a person’s sense of satisfaction in his or job is based on the level of skill needed for the job, increased automation________________.

In the conclusion it its stated that a persons satisfaction in his job alone (not about general sentiment) is based on the level of skill needed for a job.
A. will result in more and more people being unsatisfied with their jobs. - Increased automation = less high skill jobs available = low satisfaction with job - Correct
B. will not increase people’s average level of happiness. Out of scope. Conclusion is focused on job satisfaction not overall happiness - Incorrect

Hope my logic helps!
