Thanks for all the effort put in! This is very useful.

Just noticed something small though - LBS is showing as having an enrolment of 802; I think the number is closer to 380-400. Also HEC Paris shows an enrolment of 451. I think the actual number is closer to 200.

Thanks for the comments.

@thfc:Thanks for the pointing the issue. The class size of both LBS & HEC Paris is shown in "Dashboard 2". The numbers you have mentioned are appearing in that second sheet. Yes the school enrollment seems awkward but it was that number that was appearing at business week website. To avoid any mis understanding I have uploaded the new file. Thanks again.

Hi sdas.

I think you are on dashboard 2. Just click the drop arrow to see the other schools' info. To have comparison of different schools, you must go to dashboard 1 (the first sheet in the file). There you can use the drop down list and have your desired comparison.

Let us know, in case of any issue.

I liked the way you've used basic Excel features to give it a professional look. Packaged in a simple, elegant and useful manner.

Good work, buddy.

Kudos count going up.

Hi team, here we go for the MS Excel based dashboard of Int. business schools. After a great response on US schools dashboard, I was asked and was thinking myself too to work on the same data for non-US schools. Though the required info was a challanging task, as non-US schools dont share as much info as US schools do, I am able to finalize and present the required dashboard after googling various websites and contacting some current students.

Attached dashboard file is the first version and based on your suggestions, I will be plugging in some more info in the near future. Summarized info is shown below for your reference

Dashboard 1

1.I have gathered the data of these 17 schools only & will add new schools if required
Cranfield, ESADE, HEC-Paris, IE, IESE,
IMD, Insead, Ivey, Judge, LBS, Mancheser,
McGill, Queens, Rotman, Said, Schulich, SDA Bacconi.

2. There are currently six areas of information that are presented in the form of graphs. The new information points can be added depending on your suggestions.
3. The data is taken from Business Week website.
4. Comaprison can be seen for 4 schools at a time.

Dashboard 2

1.Individual school info is presented.

2.Four categories are there showing the information regarding "total applicants vs enrolled class", "male vs female", "under grad majors" & Post MBa job functions of the most recent MBA classes of each school.

3.No comparison is shown here, instead all the info can be seen against a single school at a time.

Business School Rankings

1.Forbes global mba rankings of this decade have been presented in the last sheet.
2.Two options are there, a single school ranking or ranking comparison between two schools can be viewed.
3. I was considering FT's and other rankings as well, but there was no uniformity in their data for the last 10 years.

Quote:
I was unable to find the "under graduate majors" of most recent classes of Judge, LBS and Manchester business schools. The "post graduate job functions" of recent graduated class of LBS and Said were also unavailable. If anyone can provide this info, that will be a great help.

I hope you will find this dashboard useful & will share your valuable feedback with us.

Check this link for opening the file in xls format (2003 version).

Thanks for putting these together. I wonder if we could add Warwick onto the list? However, not too sure if Warwick is in the same category in terms of B-School standard...pls advise. thanks!
