Hi, thank you both for your insightful answers! My aim is to focus on entrepreneurship, transports and international relations. I was thinking Wharton and especially Lauder was the way to go, but I might fit in better with the Kellogg. Since I am not aiming for necessarily high-paying industries, I was thinking the money was important. But a lot of alumns have told me you quickly make up for it. Should I really consider it? Especially since Lauder comes with an MA from an Ivy school...

My 2 cents is Wharton has a much stronger name globally. MA - I am not sure how that plays out since you are getting an MBA and not sure MA matters in that case.

Not having a massive loan is nice. If you are joining a tech or consulting company, you could get a $50k signing bonus and that helps but if you are recruiting in EU with. 60% income tax that will take a little while longer to pay off... but if you want to have freedom and less pressure after graduation not to pay $1k/month, that’s Kellogg.

If I had undergrad loans on top of it, I would probably take Kellogg. At the same time some believe you get an MBA once and at the price of a large wedding or a modest House down payment, 125k is not the end of the world.

PS. Based on my Value of a Top MBA post, I ruled out trading HBS/GSB for the M7 but with the strong labor market and Wharton’s third spot in the HSW, I am not so sure it is a bad deal. Even to this day I shop for groceries by price

Sorry for being dense but I’m still not 100% clear on you career goals. Obviously I understand what entrepreneurship means (?) but transports and international relations? Is that transportation industry? And do you mean entrepreneurship within that industry? And where does international relations come in?

Maybe it would be helpful to understand what kind of products your are thinking of working on/if there are specific companies you want to work for?
