Hi, I started practicing today after having learned concepts. During y learning, I understood concepts well. But when I introduce time constraints, things seem to shuffle in my head. I realized that it is because I have some difficulties to understand clearly the meaning of the sentence, and it stresses me.
How can I improve my reading skills so that to be understand quickly the meaning of a sentence?

i was in similar situation when i started for preparing for gmat . practice , practice and more practice is best way to improve your timing . initially do not care much on timing , just try to get about 85 % to 90 % accuracy 1st then after achieving that goal concentrate on timing by practicing more and more . accuracy matters more than timing in gmat as in gmat most of questions are of easy level which you would be able to solve in 1 or 1 and half minute max so for few harder question you will have more than 2 minutes in hand . stay calm do not panic . gmat tests that too . calm and composed students always score more in gmat .

If it is hard to understand the meaning of a sentence, then take a break from GMAT for a while. ---Ron Purewal
People can't increase the reading speed within a very short time. But, you can read regularly professional writings. Thanks__
It'd be better if you maintain error log while SC practice & refer the mistakes once in a week. It's likely your pacing & accuracy will increase after consistent practice.
