Race Against The GMAT Club Timer - Starts 13th July!
Have you noticed that GMAT Club Tests and Premium Membership giveaways have not been happening for quite sometime? It was not like we did not want to them. More like, we wanted to do something bigger and better! (Same as last year 
) It is July. It is that time of the month when some of us are toying with the idea of getting an MBA, some of us are planning to take the GMAT to apply next year, some of us have already taken it and are on the path to a retake, and finally some of us have done and dusted with the exam and on our way to writing that B School application for the upcoming rounds. Wherever you are in your MBA journey, we present to you the Race Against the GMAT Club Timer!

Wherever you are in your MBA journey, we present to you the Race Against the GMAT Club Timer!
What is RAGCT?
RAGCT (Race Against the GMAT Club Timer) is going to be the longest running promotion on GMAT Club (or any MBA community for that matter). We are going to post one GMAT question everyday, Monday through Friday from 13th July to 23rd August. You will get to answer the questions using the GMAT Club timer. Rules are simple. The faster you answer, the greater are the chances of your winning.
How do I enter the competition?
Quite simply, you already have! The promo is open to every user on the forum. All you have to do to participate in RAGCT is to do the following:
- Bookmark this page! Feel free to use the GMAT Club bookmark which can be accessed in your workbook in "My Workspace"!
- Check this page every day to get to know availability of new questions!
- Answer ASAP!
- Make sure to leave a comment -it could be how you arrived at the solution, your introduction or just about anything that you'd want people to know about you. We want to know who you are.
What can I win in RAGCT?
We are going to give out GMAT Club tests access on a daily basis.
- 1. Daily winners, based on GMAT Club timer results, will get a week's subscription of the GMAT Club tests.
2. Weekly winners will get 1 month access to the GMAT Club tests
3. Bi-Weekly winners will get 3 month access to the GMAT Club tests and the iPhone app
4. Overall winner will get 3 month access to the GMAT Club tests, the iphone app and the GMAT Club Premium Membership
When is RAGCT going to start?
The promo RAGCT is going to start on Monday, 13th July 2015, when the first question will be posted.
When will question get released? When will winners be announced?
- 1. Starting Monday, 13th July, we will release 1 question everyday at 10 AM PST!. Links will be posted in this thread, so make sure you have this page bookmarked.
2. 5 questions will be released till Friday.
3. Daily and Weekly winners will be announced on Sunday and OAs and OEs will be added.
4. Bi weekly winners will be announced on 13th July and 23rd August.
5. Ultimate winner will be announced on 23rd August, when the promo ends.
Key Points and FAQ
- RAGCT starts Tuesday, July 13 and ends Monday, August 23.
- Questions are new and will be provided by GMAT club partners.
- Questions will be linked on this thread at 10 AM PST
- Once question is released, answer ASAP using the GMAT Club timer and post a reply. It could be your explanation or anything about yourself. (If you do not post, we may not consider you for that question)
- Check back the next day for the next question.
- Check back on Monday for winners!
FAQ 1: Do I have to post the answer? No! Just answer in the timer and you're set. But do post an intro as to where you are in the GMAT/MBA process!
FAQ 2: Till when can I answer the question? For the entire week, till Sunday. Mondays are when the winners are announced.
What if I forget to turn on the timer/guess answers in 5 secs? We have a special algorithm to take care of that! Basically if you answer the question in less time than a minimum threshold, your answer would be counted to be taken a full minute. (We cannot disclose the threshold)
