I got the call yesterday afternoon of acceptance + a full-ride! Very excited!
For those wondering: I applied Round 1, interviewed in early December, and got the call yesterday around 1pm EST. My portal did NOT turn blank until AFTER I received my call (I missed the original call and checked my portal, which still showed "interview complete"). I then checked again around 5pm and it was then blank.
I applied in November Round and still haven't heard anything from Adcom yet. It's been over 9 weeks now and there no update on the online application as well. I am now losing hope on my application at Stern. Since they have limited slots for interviews in India and China during March, it makes the case even difficult.
I am in. No scholarship, but early start with a veterans program and GIbill. So looking at about 43000 covered along with living cost. What a ride. Interview invite 12/07, interview 1/5, got an email from an alumni (ex army) with the news. Army officer with 5 years experience along with 2 deployments. undergrad gpa overall 3.2 and 2.789 from graduating school (top 5 public in USA) with applied math major.

I submitted my application on 15th November but I haven't heard anything from them yet. My application has been under review since quite a while now. Do they usually send interview invites so close to the last date for initial notification (15th February) or should I be prepared for a ding?
Ruuugby ... yes, I am matriculating. Stern was my first choice going into this process. Nikhil .... don't be discouraged yet. I got my invite on December 7, 8 days before the notification deadline. I have been accepted.

If one applies in the first two deadlines - oct 15 & nov 15, and gets an interview invite then one does have an option of interviewing outside NYC. they don't guarantee this for the remainder deadlines. my profile is pretty much what it would be for an indian candidate - male, engineer,9+ years work-ex in project mgmt+ operations in oil and gas. i applied in the nov 15 deadline round.

I interviewed in New York on December 15th and still haven't seen a status change from "Interview Complete" on the application portal. Does it mean that I got dinged? Will they let you know if you are rejected ahead of the final decision date?
