Do we need to send official Transcript to ASU or is the scanned copy sufficient for Application submission?

IELTS or TOEFL required for Indians? Even if medium of instruction at one's college was english?

Also, official transcripts need to be mailed and must have reached in order to be considered? Application wont be evaluated based on unofficial documents?

Not sure on Toefl but yes you have to send officials and they won’t accept unofficial. I know there is a slight leeway after the deadline for them to receive your documents but I’m not sure what it is. I would call admissions to clarify.

Hello People,

Please help me with below questions -
1. Did any of the international student here choose the concurrent degree option on the portal? If yes, then are we supposed to submit the essays for STEM option as well?
2. Are the links to recommenders sent after we submit the whole application? If yes, then how much time AdCom team give recommenders to submit the same? In my case, it could well be true that my recommenders submit their inputs after 5-6 days after the November 28 deadline.
Does it affect any prospects?

Hi Anu,

To answer your questions:

1. If you're applying for a concurrent degree, then yes you do need to submit degree specific essay questions. These essays are separate from the MBA essay questions.

2. Link to recommenders will be sent only after you submit your complete application. And your LORs need to be submitted before the state Round's deadline. If your recommenders will need 5-6 days to submit your LORs then you need to submit your application with that many day's margin. You may ask adcom if they are willing to give you 2-3 days leeway but I doubt.

The application portal asks for "Total Career/Full-Time Experience" and has only "Years" and "Months" as option fields. So should I enter my experience as of today or as when I'll be entering the school?

In my case, I never got the email with details. I had to follow up many times with different people to get a login. However, they confirmed the receipt of my transcript over email.

Please follow up with them for login details, if you havent got it yet.

My transcripts have not yet reached them and it seems that it might take another 10-15 days even though I had posted them long back. Should I be worried?
Is there any workaround to get it resolved? Would they consider PDF copies of transcripts?
