What does In person interview mean then? Meeting with an alumni in person somewhere nearby?

Hey guys..

Got the in person interview call at Hyderabad. Where is your interview location?

Is it better to interview in person or via skype? Will the format be same for both interviews?

Hey Guys!!

I got an in-person interview invite in Pune.

Any suggestions whether the inperson interview is better or skype?

Additionally did anyone undergo interview yet?
What type of questions are expected.

Congrats to everyone who received an invite !

Skype vs in-person interview should be the same mostly, mine was on skype and there was 1 adcom person and 1 first-year student. If your in-person interview is not in the US there will most likely be only adcom people but if you have the opportunity, I think you should opt for the in-person one.

Mine lasted around 45 mins, a few generic questions and some behavioral questions if I remember correctly. There was also a small case with 3-4 questions but it's not complicated. Finally I had 5-10 mins to ask questions myself. You should skim the previous years' discussions on this forum to see if there's more details about the interview but overall I felt it was a standard interview.

Good luck to all of you !

Hi All,

What ID did you get your interview invitation email from? I got it from wpc dot salesforce at gmail dot com. It seems very unlikely that they will send it from a gmail ID. It is very fishy. I am confused. Any reply would help me a lot.

Thanks!

ASU hosts their official university email in a gmail server. It’s legit.

Hey thanks for your input.

Can you share some of the generic and behavioral questions if you remember!!

That will be of great help.

Just had my interview with an admissions team member and current student. Indeed very friendly atmosphere, and great experience ! I feel i could have done better in a couple of questions, and especially in a business case where i had a small brainfreeze  which is double shame for me since i am an entrepeneur, but we are all humans after all 8-)

Although i cannot disclose the exact questions, my general advice would be the following: be prepared for non-standard questions, think outside the box, think big picture. I am not an admissions expert, but in my opinion the school is really trying to weave its innovative spirit into the interview approach, and allows candidates to show their creative thinking and their personality. i also asked three questions and the answeres were very detailed. Decisions will be released on Dec, 8.

hope this helps, and good luck with your interviews people!

Hi All,

I'm trying to estimate my ROI if I attend the part time program at WP Carey, vs a 7% yearly stock market return.

My dilemma is that there isn't any data on outcomes from the part-time program available. Should I just estimate outcomes are the same as the full time program? Even the full time program data isn't very clear on whether the salaries are before or after bonus and from speaking with the program director it sounds like the students are asked a way that would be open to their own interpretation whether to include bonus info or not. Also how much should I adjust those outcomes down, since I'm not planning to go into financial services or consulting?

I'd have ~4 years of product management experience going into the program and ~6 years at graduation.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks
~Alex

Are we still going to hear more interview invites in the following weeks? Or is R1 done?
