Welcome everyone to the NUS 2019 Intake applicants discussion. Let's use this platform to know each other, exchange ideas/information, discuss application strategies, share interview/school visit experiences, and boost each other's morale to face the tough admission process. Happy networking!
1. 1-min elevator pitch 2. Tell me why you made all your career switches. 4. Why NUS? 5. Tell me about a world issue. 6. How would you prepare differently if you move to the next round?
Pretty standard questions based on what I've seen previously.
I was one of the members receiving these promotional mails. I received my prelim request today. It might have been a way to engage and be in the loop.

Hi All,
Can those admitted let me know the process and timeline of major events like preliminary interview etc ? I applied with a friend of mine at the last day of the R1 cycle (31st Jan 2019). My friend unfortunately received his rejection mail 2 weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything from them.
Except for one really weird email just yesterday with sub: "You're Invited - Experience day at NUS" to invite me for a Campus Visit. It isn't addressed to me and looks like a bulk mail. Did anyone else go through this ? Should I reach out to the adcom ?

Anyone who received admits from US schools but is waiting for NUS processes or decision? How are you planning to go about it?

Congrats on your prelim invite!
I haven't heard back from NUS yet after my preliminary interview on 13th March 2019. Has anyone who interviewed during 11th- 14th March 2019 heard back for the final interview?
If you have been interviewed, I suggest you to contact NUS to follow up their decision. You can inform them that you have to answer the admits from US school.

The NUS website does not mention final decision dates. If I apply in R2, by when can I expect results?
Really don't know. I applied in R1, yet to hear from them and I am past the 6 week mark too

Okay. I have admits from CJBS & Said and the deadline to accept in by April end/May 1st week. I am wondering if I apply to NUS now, will I be able to get results in time to make a comparison between these schools

You might get a swift response. Can't say for sure.
Another individual had applied towards the end of R1 and was called for an interview within a week.
Hi Guys, Had my preliminary interview on 12th of march and was told that the decision for the next round will be communicated within the next two weeks. It's been two weeks now so should I start prepping for my next application or is there still a chance of me getting shortlisted for the next round?
Anyone who had their interviews around 11-12-13 March dates and got invited to the next interview? P

Had my primary interview today - here's a quick summary:
Duration (10-12 Minutes)
1. Elevator Pitch 2. What are your goals after your MBA? 3. What do you want to gain from an MBA? 4. Any question for us? - Asked about Internships and Experiential Learning.
Just wanted to check. What's the typical Applicant -> Primary -> Second Interview ratio? If anyone has any idea?
Hi, Same for me as well. I had mine on 13th March 2019 and still no update on the second interview.
