Well, this year they have increased the interview quota I assume (based on some chat). So it is tough to comment but it should be a 50/50. Because yield also comes into play for achieving the final numbers.

Bummed out on getting dinged from Ross & Fuqua. 3.5 years work ex, 720 GMAT, thought I'd at least make interview.. but now wondering if I have a bigger flaw in my apps

The interview invitation process is highly selective. It is possible that you would be invited to interview at a later stage. Yes it was via email.

1. This is typical Fuqua reply. This isn’t ding. This is a kind of waitlist only. I know how hard that is. 2. Do not let this affect your other apps. Hi RicAssassin, Even I got similar email stating this is not final decision. When you say this is typical Fuqua reply, do you mean everyone who does not get interview invite gets this email? Or only a select few get this email - indicating a waitlist rather than a ding?
