Thanks man! I think it has a lot to do with applying conservatively and networking extensively. I had a lower GMAT when I applied and wanted a full scholarship..thus the choice of schools. I updated schools with my higher scores after my round 2 applications. Add declining applications to that and we sort of have a recipe for success. :)

Don't say that just yet. There's 4 months until school starts. Besides, schools will probably offer some relaxation. International students might be allowed to attend classes online until their Visas are processed. You have to look at the numbers. Say 30 top US schools x 300 incoming students x 20% international. Close to 2000 students. And these are extremely conservative. So don't sweat it right now. Chin up my friend!

Hi, yes my first letter stating acceptance mentioned a merit scholarship. I received the scholarship letter 2 hours after that.
