Curious to know whether you think your early admission notification is due to your request for expedited assessment. Only 3 users seem to have received the decision via email until now.

Hi all,

I submitted my application for R2 already on 17th April with all necessary documentation (was targeting R1, but received the second letter of recommendation only after the deadline).

As I am expecting decisions from other schools this month I was wondering if Insead might review applications faster before the indicated deadlines if I ask for it?

Can you tell me from your experience if this is worth a shot?

I delayed another school 3 times because of my INSEAD app; therefore, I decided to write to INSEAD, explained clearly my situation and asked for an early decision. INSEAD didn't commit but in reality, they tried their best to support me. So you can give it a try. However, from what they wrote to me, I don't think they can share any result more than 2 weeks before the deadline.

To be honest, I am not sure because my AO didn't mention in the admission email. I also received my interview notification 10 days before the deadline and both interviews went quite well as they gave me positive feedbacks at the end of each session. I think it's a combination of many factors

Hey! Yes, I did - I had a tight deadline with another school to reply to their offer. Hence, the early result. INSEAD was clear it couldn't promise an early revert - but I was surprised with the quick turn around. It all depends on the Adcom sitting together earlier and perhaps feedback from the interviewers.

I suppose so...results for Jan 2021 R1 should be coming out latest by Friday 15th (I read in a previous post that an AO said we should start getting results as of today)
