Thank you happypuppy and elPatron434!

Really appreciate your feedback and suggestions. I am hoping or planning to survive the MBA Spotlight next week and then dive into these.

If you have some suggestions, would love if you can put them into a doc and we can review it after next week 😇

PS. Yes, running these every few months is my hope and plan.

bb,
Thanks for the poll.
Reader need to read the main question stem again and again when they're reading so many folks explanation because they need to check what is going on official question or what the official questions look like. So, there should have one button for ''main question''. The button could be like ''click for main question stem''.

One more thing:
People are so busy with their personal life, maybe. The reader need to make ''note'' when they read different people explanation. So, if you guys make that ''My Notes'' only with main question the reader forget why they made those notes. Sometimes, the reader makes notes just to make comment for that specific experts' or other guys post. if you don't make ''my notes'' button for every comments the reader will forget why the reader made that notes!
Thanks...

Hi bb,

According to me, it is the Forum Quiz (FQ). FQ has already improved by leaps and bounds but I can see it becoming the #1 tool across all GMAT prep resources.
I have used Forum Quiz extensively, probably as much as top 5% would have used.
According to me, FQ is the most underrated tools out there. The people who are doing self-prep, it is already too much valuable for them but it can be made very useful for people other than self-prep (i.e. private tutoring, online/offline classes or via a course).
I have few suggestions to discuss in terms of interface and some minor tweaks (updated & add) in features.

I am very much interested in discussing that, let me know how?

Thank you so much for your feedback.
I have sent you a PM.

Thank you so much elPatron434!

I agree about these.
I hope to get a Product Management intern to work on the decision tracker in the next few months in time for R2.

About Reviews, I am working on improving them. First I was thinking to release several smaller enhancements - first some minor ones to the landing page and main area of the reviews and then drilling down deeper into the actual review system. But I like the PROS/CONS approach so I may start there  . I think that will be good to force people to share their feedback and help improve products. Right now I feel the reviews are very one-sided.

Hi bb
Great initiative. A couple of things come to mind

1. I believe that the decision tracker doesn't reflect the scores of candidates applying with the GRE. Please correct me if I'm wrong here. I believe that's an area of improvement

2. With regards to the reviews, maybe we can look at introducing pointers (for eg What went well, what could've been improved) to help shed some more light on the product that the prospective candidate used. This could also potentially help differentiate between services that sometimes might look very similar

3. An easier way to update the decision tracker. I observe that a lot of GMATClub traffic has moved over to the chatrooms. I think providing a feature for students to update their application status for a particular school through the school's chatroom could potentially make updating the status a little more convenient and help us collect more data.

I believe a poll every 3 months would allow us to be more nimble and tailor the forum better.

These are some of the things I have noticed from my time in the forum. Please feel free to ignore if they don't make sense or are already under consideration.

I find specific experts' replies/solutions to GMAT questions quite helpful. But currently, it's very difficult to search for a particular experts solutions question category-wise (for example, if I want to sort for KarishmaB's solutions to official critical reasoning ASSUMPTION questions). It will be nice if that kind of sorting can be made possible in the "Practice Questions Bank" search. Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestion. I can see a challenge with searching for something like that. I think it may be possible with advanced search.… but it’s not easy to find the advanced search 🥴

Let me see if I can get it.

PS. Quick question for you, how would you like to see this executed? How would you be able to narrow down and search by expert? Where would you be expecting to Be able to conduct a search like that?

It might be better if the particular expert option can be selected along with selecting the question type and source in the ‘Practice questions bank’ tab. For example I really appreciate IanStewart, avigutman, GMATNinja, and KarishmaB solutions. So say while practising CR assumption questions, if I can sort only those questions in which either of these experts have replied to - that will be great. Such a visibility might also give such experts more incentive to post solutions.

But any place where I can make such a search (a particular experts along with a category of question type) would work (for eg if that option is available in advanced search, that is fine too).

Thanks
