Hi Yogi

If your a non -English speaker , and looking for help in SC . then look for e-gmat .
It really helped with my SC , because in e-gmat we have scholoranium which is tool with lots of good verbal questions for each sub-sections like SV pair error , modifier , Verbs etc .

try their tool for free - they give limited access for a week I guess and then decide .

Thanks for answering nigina93.
I have read the MGMAT SC book once. I've also tried free sessions of E-gmat. Then I realized that I'm txt book- type of person and not much in video learning. SC is mainly I worry about.
1) Is MGMAT good and enough to score well?
2) Have you ever used E-gmat before?

Hello yogi02,

We are on a forum where you have lots of GMAT Experts. It's important for you to check what works best for you. You have to choose the category you fall in first so that you don't waste time figuring out things and miss the deadline.

1. Self Motivated - here self-preparation works very well. You can work with free online material. Only thing you need to take care of here is making sure you don't get confused with all different methods of explaining the concepts and get better with a flawed approach. Here the risk you face it not knowing what is going wrong since you are all by yourself.

2. Need help - Here you would need a proper plan. You would want experts to create a proper structure for you. You need a mentor to talk to / email when you need help.
In such a case, I would strongly advice take a course. This will help you keep things in track and on a plan.

You could take a trial course to check what works best for you and then take a call.

Hope this helps.

regards,
Shree

The cost of the course $550 after discount. It is really worth it? Will it really help me hit 700+ score.

Hi Guys,

Well, this is one of the most heated topics. But again, there is no one size fits all approach.
It is very true that E-Gmat is spending huge money on marketing its course. It is everywhere on the internet.

I would just like to tell you that no course can be solely responsible for your success on the GMAT. These companies who put testimonials of their students scoring 760+ will also have students who score just in the range of 500s.

You guys need to base your decision on criteria such as the cost of the course, the genuine reviews about the particular course on Gmat Club, Online/ Offline course and what all is being offered on that course.

One thing is there that for Non- Native English speakers, the approach Egmat provides has worked well. Egmat also has its own practicing portal which has more than 1000 question to work on.

Then again, these courses are just stepping stones to your success. There is no escalator, just in case if you are looking for one.

I have used e-GMAT Online, and I highly recommend it for Verbal preparation. It's sufficient for Quants preparation as well. e-GMAT's modules are well designed to guide you to your target GMAT score, but how well you make use of them will ultimately determine your performance.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I don't see a reason why not. They got a great set of questions with solutions for all. The meaning based SC approach is like no other
