Congrats on the invites! Definitely interview in New Haven if you can.

For those still waiting, please don't lose hope yet. It's still super early. Invites go out through November. I still haven't figured out a rhyme or reason to when they go out, but I was definitely towards the end of the invites ;)

Hi, guys. As some of you know, I was WL in Round 3 last round (after an interview), so I'm not expecting an interview this cycle as I interviewed just a few months ago. That said, I received an email meant for applicants who have been recently invited to interview (but not an interview invite). What to make of this? Any ideas? I'll email my interviewer to find out more, but anyone else experience anything similar?

I am not sure but I think that means that your past interview is being considered for this year.

Last year 14 people posted Yale interview invites on GMAT Club. This year a sum total of ZERO so far!

Hi there. It was from the Association of Hispanic and Latin American Students inquiring if I want to chat with a member of that organization before my interview. There was a form attached and I was required to enter my interview date, so I imagine it was intended only for students who were invited to interviews. I think that it might be a vestige of my application last cycle or perhaps that I was not invited again but they still moved my application to the next round, so to speak? Regardless, I'm going to email my interviewer from last cycle (an AdCom member) and see if it was sent in error or not.

Did anyone received this particular email who was not invited? Perhaps I should have reached out to AdCom before coming here -- don't want to cause any confusion.

Good luck to all!

Not everyone mentions their nationality here though to preserve some privacy, so some of the posts may very well be from indians who choose not to divulge that information.

Yeah realistically speaking, it would probably a similar scene from last year as well right? Even on livewire it’s a similar scene. So maybe Indian invites are coming later or I am being too optimistic.
