Admitted to HBS & Wharton - Can't recommend Rachel Enough

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I was very unfamiliar with the MBA application process when I initially started working with Rachel. I hadn't taken a standardized test, written essays, or even updated my resume since undergrad - and it showed. Other consultants I spoke with were less confident in my chances of admission to the schools I was targeting. I was fairly adamant about going to HBS, and Rachel never wavered in her confidence that I could achieve it. She warned me, going in, that her process was much more rigorous and pushed applicants through far more revisions than typical consultants, but that level of detail and accountability was what I was looking for and often kept me honest about what I was really trying to show (not tell) in my essays. She also remembers so many details and helps you craft a narrative from literally anything. Things I tossed aside early on in my essay revisions or resume building, she remembered, and we were able to use later on. She worked directly with my recommenders to ensure their letters were polished and aligned with my application without telling me what they wrote. Beyond the tactical guidance, Rachel was so incredibly encouraging and would work with me at all hours, especially down to the wire. Thanks to her support, I was admitted to the two schools I applied to, HBS and Wharton, and I genuinely do not think I would be in this position without her guidance and support!

Working with Rachel was one of the best decisions I made during the application process. I was admitted to both Harvard and Stanford, which were the two schools we worked on together, but the bigger thing I got from working with her was clarity. She helped me understand what I actually wanted to do next and why it mattered to me.

Rachel was very straightforward in a way I really appreciated. She pushed me when something was vague, told me when an answer was not landing, and helped me get to a version of my story that felt much more honest and focused.

I also really appreciated how seriously she took my background and my future goals in development. I never felt like she was trying to force me into a standard MBA applicant mold. She helped me make sense of the throughline in my experiences and explain why development was not just an interest, but the direction I wanted to build my career around.

She was also extremely responsive and steady through the stressful parts of the process. When my planned test scores expired earlier than expected, she helped me quickly game plan instead of spiraling. That was true throughout working with her. She helped me focus on what mattered and not get stuck in my own head.

Interview prep with Rachel was also so helpful. She helped me see where I could be more specific, where I was rambling, and how to talk about my goals in a way that felt natural. I went into my interviews feeling prepared, but still like myself.

I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone applying. She made the whole process feel much less overwhelming, and I am really grateful I had her in my corner.

Working with Michel through Fortuna Admissions was hands down the best decision I could have made for my full-time MBA applications. Having her as my coach directly correlated to 3 acceptances, 2 of which being M7 schools—note, I applied to a limited number of schools, so this was great news for me!

With lower test scores, I came into the application process with trepidation and uneasiness. I had no idea where to even start. Fortuna has clear instructions and friendly materials to guide you through each step of the process. However, Michel stepped in as a real mentor and force of encouragement. She crafted a personalized plan, timeline, and structure for my application process, allowing me to know what each week would bring. She helped centralize my “why MBA” and “why me” after just one or two meetings—she was helpful in breaking down my essays to be structurally sound, eloquent, and true to my tone/self. If you have no idea where to start, she will be sure to pull stories and career visions out of you! She knew exactly how to ensure that my essays held all the component needed while speaking to each individual school’s personality. Even when cutting essays down, she pushed to keep central sentences or moments that she knew were special glimpses into my character.

During interview season, Michel prepped me for each session, building my confidence. She gave great tips on when to add certain points about myself and when to wait for the next question. During interview prep, the network of Fortuna was powerful; they knew exactly what was coming and what has changed from previous years. Michel kept me calm throughout the whole process, especially since my background is a bit more unconventional. Each school has a different process, and yet, I felt like I knew exactly what was coming.

Overall, Michel is a VERY timely person. Her responses are quick and impactful. Michel holds a special talent and positivity that pushes you to show admissions committees the best version of yourself while feeling totally at ease. I’m sad our time working together has ended, and I can’t wait to keep her updated throughout my time at school!

I 100% recommend Michel!

Working with Heidi was one of the most defining parts of my MBA journey. She brings a rare combination of sharp judgment and genuine care, and she does not let you settle. Her “tough love” approach meant she consistently pushed me beyond what I thought was enough, holding me to a much higher bar until every piece of my application truly reflected my best thinking.

What stood out most was how tailored her guidance was. My background and goals are not conventional, and at times I saw them as risks. Heidi saw them as strengths. She helped me unpack my story, challenge my assumptions, and turn what felt uncertain into something clear, differentiated, and compelling.

Having her in my corner was incredibly grounding throughout what can be a very overwhelming process. I am now heading to Oxford Saïd this fall, and I can say with full confidence that I would not be here without her guidance. I feel very fortunate to have worked with her.

I ended up working with Michel through the comprehensive package. Michel brought amazing organization and structure to every part of the admissions process, ensuring my essays and interview preparation were thorough and well-executed. At the start we worked through all the details that could be beneficial to my application from goals and career progression to my life story. Beyond the tactical application support, she was a genuinely encouraging presence during an inherently stressful time, helping me manage anxiety and stay focused when it mattered most. She was extremely responsive at all times, and very flexible with her calendar. I cannot recommend her enough, working with Michel was one of the best decisions I made throughout this process. I would go on to receive offers from Wharton, Kellogg, and Booth.

Heidi exceeded all expectations! From the start she was very good in helping me find the story I wanted to tell. I felt supported every step of the way and she would always make time to help me no matter the hours. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to take their MBA applications to the next level. Great Consulting Experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Working with Silpa has been an incredible experience, and I truly don’t think I would have gotten into my dream school without her guidance and mentorship. She has a unique ability to deeply understand your personality, your story, and your aspirations, and then help shape them in a way that highlights the most unique, compelling, and, most importantly, authentic aspects of who you are.

Silpa has an exceptional eye for detail and an amazing memory. She remembers even the smallest things you mention and is able to connect them in meaningful ways. In fact, she often reminded me of lived experiences and accomplishments that I had completely forgotten about, which ended up becoming valuable parts of my application story.

Beyond her expertise, Silpa is genuinely wonderful to work with. She makes what can be a stressful and overwhelming process feel exciting and manageable. She truly cares about her clients and is deeply invested in their success. I always felt supported, encouraged, and confident throughout the journey.

I cannot recommend Silpa highly enough to anyone looking for an MBA consultant who is insightful, strategic, and truly cares about helping you put your best foot forward.

Thank you so much, Becca

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I’m so grateful to Becca for her support throughout my MBA application journey. Coming into the process, I didn’t have a network of friends or colleagues who had gone through MBA applications before, and I was coming from a relatively non-traditional background - so it initially all felt quite overwhelming and difficult to navigate.
Becca helped me bring my story to life in a way that felt both authentic and compelling. Just as importantly, she gave me the structure and clarity I needed to map out my career vision and connect the dots across my experiences in a way that finally made sense.
She struck an incredible balance between being supportive and challenging - pushing me to think more deeply, refine my ideas, and communicate them with confidence. I always felt that she genuinely cared about my journey and outcome.
Thanks to her guidance, I ultimately received offers from several dream schools - which felt almost unfathomable when I started this process - including HBS. I’m incredibly grateful for her role in helping me get there.
I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process, particularly those coming from non-traditional backgrounds.

9 Admits out of 10, Including Two M7s. Silpa Made It Happen.

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I came into this process as a non-traditional candidate with a background that didn't fit the typical MBA mold. My biggest challenge wasn't my experience, it was my confidence and knowing how to tell my own story in a way that would resonate with top programs. Working with Silpa changed that completely.
Silpa guided me through every step of applying to 10 schools, and I received offers from 9 of them: Columbia, Chicago Booth, Darden, Fuqua, Haas, Cornell Johnson, Ross, Tuck, and Yale SOM. Across those admits, I received substantial scholarship offers, including a full ride. Those results speak for themselves, but what I want to highlight is how she got me there. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand my background at a granular level, drawing out themes and strengths I genuinely could not see in myself. She helped me craft each piece of my application with care and intentionality, making sure my voice came through in every essay, recommendation brief, and personal statement.
What I appreciated most was how available and present she was throughout the entire process. I had so many questions, so much anxiety, and so many moments of self-doubt, and Silpa was there for all of it. She was warm, patient, and endlessly encouraging without ever being unrealistic. She fielded my questions no matter how small, turned around feedback quickly, and always made me feel like my success genuinely mattered to her.
For anyone coming from a non-traditional background who isn't sure their story is compelling enough, Silpa is exactly who you need. She will find the gold in your narrative and help you present it with confidence. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

10/10 Recommendation for Heidi Hillis

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

The comprehensive school package was truly a white glove service that gave me a clear roadmap for every part of the application.

Would make the product better:

Nothing, Heidi was incredible from start to finish.

Heidi was a game changer for my applications. I walked into this process unsure of what I wanted to pursue, what schools I was targeting, and questioned if I was “good enough” to apply to the top programs. Right away, Heidi eased my anxiety by breaking down the application process into manageable, bite-size components and creating a step-by-step strategy for how we would tackle every part of my application from start to finish. Additionally, Heidi’s level of professionalism and responsiveness to my messages was exceptional. What I valued most about working with Heidi was her introspective approach. She helped me gain real clarity on my career vision by starting with my core values, what genuinely drives me, and connecting that to the “why” behind my decisions (both professional and personal) and future goals. That foundation made my entire application feel both compelling and cohesive. It created a clear, consistent narrative thread that tied everything together, making it easy for admissions teams to understand not just what I’ve accomplished, but why I’m pursuing an MBA and where I want to go next.

I chose the 3 school package and Heidi was there for every step of the process from advising me on where to improve my GRE score to helping me identify the right recommenders and negotiating my scholarship offers. Not only did Heidi help me achieve acceptances to Columbia, MIT, Kellogg, and Booth (all with significant scholarships), but she helped me become more confident and empowered me to believe I can achieve something that seemed impossible.
