I was low-key freaking out (submitted 5th Oct). Got a linkedIn profile view from someone in admissions approximately 2 weeks ago and thought I'd hear back shortly after.

What is the latest date applied for people who heard back today? I saw an invite for a 10/1 application.

For the interview, do we get to choose who we interview with or are we automatically matched with an alum? Does anyone know?

Do their interview invites traditionally go out on a standard schedule (e.g. every Monday), or on a completely random basis?

Since there has been nothing else this week, it looks like they might be trying to catch up a bit and do big waves on Monday after a week of review? Perhaps this is just temporary until they get caught up.

This is just speculation of course.

Proved myself wrong!

Was just denied. Reapplicant. Applied 10/11, denied 12/8.

Bummed because it was my undergraduate school. They probably were curious as to why I didn't apply Early Decision. I loved my time at Columbia, so best of luck to all who have already been accepted and those who are waiting to hear back!

If you don’t mind me asking, when did you apply? It would help understand approximately where they may be at reviewing applications.

10/16 application still waiting to hear back. Just realized that I began my application in early August, but didn't apply ED. Hopefully that won't be something they question.

Does anybody know if someone will open a group for admitted students? Looks like in years past there have been similar groups well before December.
