Are all the interviews invites mentioned in this chat so far open-interviews only?
who wil confirm this question??
Yes, I think so. According to the information in the web, invited interviews might follow the EA deadline.

Submitted my application yesterday and scheduled a (self initiated) interview for late next week. Anyone else in the same boat that would be interested in doing a round of mock interviews together, ideally between 5 and 10 pm Pacific time on Monday or Tuesday? I plan to do one with a friend over the weekend, but figure that another with someone truly unfamiliar with my candidacy like in the actual interview would be great practice. DM me if interested!

Have my interview with Darden on 17th sept.Any one who has given the interview, please share your experience

Posted from my mobile device

The interviewer was very cordial and nice and the interview was very relaxed and conversational.

The starting point was the usual "Tell me about yourself". He let me finish my entire narrative where I tried to cover the major points including why MBA, why Darden, what would I bring to the cohort, etc. He asked me on clarification or further elaboration on few of the points about my life and profile that I had mentioned.

This went on for around 55 minutes or so, then he asked if I had any questions for him. We discussed that for another 15 minutes. So overall the interview went on for about 70 minutes or so but it did not feel like it because of how conversational and relaxed the whole process was in general.

Good luck for your interview! Hoping it goes really well. :)

You are pretty lucky. They are strictly ending interviews by the 45 minute mark. Mine ended at the 43rd minute

Ah! I was not aware of that. Probably I was lucky then :)

There was a technical hiccup at the start of my interview, they had sent me the wrong Zoom link, so I was waiting in a different meeting room for a while, so probably it was just a way to compensate for that anxious wait :)

But the interviewer was very kind and genuinely interested to talk so I am glad it worked out that way. It was pretty much in line with everything I had heard or read about the Darden interview experience from previous years.

do the interviewers interrupt your monologue to ask questions? or they only speak up after the first 20-25mins?
