Hey everyone! Just created this thread because I've been scouring GMATClub for a discussion thread on HEC September 2018 intake and realized there wasn't one. Anyone applying to HEC for the September 2018 intake or has received a decision for it, please do post an update here. Also, I just got an admit! My profile: Background - Engineering Current Industry - Industrial Automation WE at the time of matriculation - 60 months GMAT - 710 GPA - 7.5 Location - India Target Industry - Technology Heard back via - Email Timeline - Submitted application on 15th September. Pre-selection outcome decision - 22nd September. Finished both interviews in the first week of October. Got an admit on 12th October. Interviews - Both were with alumni, one in my city, other in Philippines. Very conversational interviews, touched upon the regular interview questions - Why MBA, why HEC, post-MBA goals, etc. Feel free to message me directly for any help on the process. Congratulations!! Is there a portal or a system where students with admits can check total number of admits, nationalisties of admits etc? If so, it would be very helpful if you could share something like that. I know of other schools that have it, not sure about HEC. Hence asking.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum - but just received my admit yesterday!! If I can help in any way with providing some insight into the application process, let me know. The interviews were both conducted via Skype by HEC alumni from the 2011 batch based in Tokyo and Singapore. They were pretty straightforward and focused on getting to know me as a person. Looking forward to hearing to your admissions experience too!

Hello everyone, I'm an indian applicant looking to apply. I'm confused if I should apply for the September intake or the January 2019 intake. Any inputs? Suggestions? Thanks!

From what I know, there isn't any difference between both the programmes. But I've heard feedback from alums saying the September intake is better from an admissionprocess and placement perspective.
