Hey everyone! Just created this thread because I've been scouring GMATClub for a discussion thread on HEC September 2018 intake and realized there wasn't one. Anyone applying to HEC for the September 2018 intake or has received a decision for it, please do post an update here. Also, I just got an admit! My profile: Background - Engineering Current Industry - Industrial Automation WE at the time of matriculation - 60 months GMAT - 710 GPA - 7.5 Location - India Target Industry - Technology Heard back via - Email Timeline - Submitted application on 15th September. Pre-selection outcome decision - 22nd September. Finished both interviews in the first week of October. Got an admit on 12th October. Interviews - Both were with alumni, one in my city, other in Philippines. Very conversational interviews, touched upon the regular interview questions - Why MBA, why HEC, post-MBA goals, etc. Feel free to message me directly for any help on the process. Yes, from what I know, they send out dinge emails as well.

Hi All, I checked with the HEC team. they mailed me back saying that there are 2 pre-selection juries scheduled next week and the results will be out on or before next friday....hope this helps

Hi all I'm looking to apply in Round 5 (deadline 1 January 2018) as I hadn't been able to meet the previous deadlines due to work commitments. Do you think applying at this time would put me at an disadvantage, considering how there are 11 rounds in total?

From what I've been hearing, there's an advantage in applying to the first few rounds but I don't know how much the chances of getting accepted decrease during the later rounds. It might become a problem for some scholarship deadlines or visa applications depending on where you're coming from.
