So if December 15 is the initial notification date, what is the final decision date? When I applied I was under the impression that December 15 was the decision date. I guess it's my own fault for not looking into it, but I assumed it was the same way the other schools handle it and to be honest I find it kind of frustrating. I applied to several schools with January enrollment deadlines, and if I get into one or more of those but still don't know whether I'm in at Johnson, then I feel like I wasted my time and money applying. I wish they could just tell us when we'll know for sure if we're admitted or not! (And my application status does say "Schedule Interview," so I assume I've been invited, but I find it annoying that we have to wait so long to get it done when all the other schools are moving much faster).

I completely understand your frustrations and I experienced some interview scheduling issues last year as well. However now that I'm at the school I can attest that the admissions office is currently understaffed. They have been looking to fill a few empty positions in the office for a few months now and with applications still ongoing it's been difficult for them to organize and coordinate. I would suggest that if you guys are still extremely concerned (especially for those that want to interview on campus and have to book tickets) that you go ahead and call the office and ask for a more accurate update.

Once again, this time last year, we didn't get interview notifications until November 5th. You guys are getting your invites much more in advance. There's still time and I'm sure the office is trying as hard as they can to send out a large number of acceptances by mid-December as I'm sure many of you will be fortunate enough to have to decide between multiple acceptances :)

:gl and I hope to see you all around Sage :-D

anyone who applied for 1 yr program has any change in the status?

Hey Aditya,

I have applied for the 1 year program and received a status change to "Schedule Interview" today evening (roughly 5 PM IST). All the best.

Just got my interview invitation email. Ended up in the "Promotions" tab in Gmail just for reference. Scheduled mine for the 16th of November. Best of luck everyone.

Just got invited to interview officially! Excited, but I feel like a bit foolish for complaining about being unable to schedule interviews two days before they sent out the invitation.

I feel the same way! Did anyone else get invited to the Johnson L.E.A.D. event on November 19-20?

Fantastic news..I am invited as well! So excited for this next step.

Thanks everyone for posting on the board. I wouldn't have known to search all my e-mail folders otherwise (it was not in my inbox).

Question regarding on-campus/Skype options:
If I already visited prior to my application, do you think a Skype interview will suggest that Johnson is not a priority (it is)? I know the e-mail says "opting to conduct your interview virtually will not negatively impact your candidacy," but I can't help but think that an in-person visit works much better. The only thing holding me back is the cost of travel, which I am capable of covering but is a concern as I am trying to save funds for my degree!

In my opinion, the fact that you already visited demonstrates a strong commitment to the school. Probably wouldn't hurt to remind them again during the Skype interview that you already visited, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it virtually if that works better for you!

I just got an invite to interview today! I had been checking my application status daily and until yesterday it said Under Review but today I got an email inviting me to schedule my interview and now the status on my application says Schedule Interview.

Just got the official invite. Seems like there won't be an off campus interview in India. So have scheduled my interview on 19th November

Hi, Congrats for those received invites!
I have a simple question, after sending official GMAT or TOEFL score report, will the score appear in the application system automatically? Thanks. I sent the report in June, but it didn't show up in my applications.

Good luck with your applications!

Seems like game over for me, over a month since submission and still have my application status as 'under review'. All the very best to those who've been invited!

Same for me. Any Indian with <720 GMAT score got an interview invite?

I scored 680. I am assuming its my entrepreneurial background (4 years) and extra-curricular activities that may have swung things in my favor.

I totally agree with this. I also visited the school in September and I can't go back for the interview... But I'll make sure to mention my visit during the Skype interview. In my opinion, visiting the school without an invitation to interview might show an even greater commitment to the program than just visiting after being invited.

BTW, I also received the email yesterday (went to the Promotions tab in Gmail as Zatopek mentioned).

Best of luck with your interviews!
