It's so weird that you got waitlisted without even getting an interview. I really don't understand Stern's admission process. I think most other schools only waitlist candidates who have gone through the interview.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Very interesting. I wonder if there's anyone else in a similar situation?

Yea, i'm in the same boat too. Got a Waitlist notification without even an interview on 1 Feb. No communication since then even after dropping them a mail. :/

The Stern interview was my last interview and is finally done! Definitely slacked a little during my preparation because I've already been admitted elsewhere. Now comes the long 3 week wait.

Hi all, I interviewed for the full time program on 2/13, but haven't heard anything quite yet. I noticed on ClearAdmit that two other individuals who interviewed after me (2/15 and 2/20) have already received their acceptance calls/notices. Should I be concerned? Any insights as to what could be the hold-up here?

Hi All,

I applied to the NYU FT MBA program on 1/15. I haven't heard anything yet (slightly concerned!) but I only applied for the FT program. After some thought, and a few job and situational changes, I am interested in applying to the PT program as well. Any suggestions on what the best way to proceed is? Should I reach out to them and see if my current application can also be considered for the PT program or should I just wait to hear back on the status of my application before applying to the PT program? I noticed that the deadline for that is May to be admitted Fall 2018.

After my interview, my status changed to "interview completed". Now, it changed to blank with only reference number left. Does anyone know it's a good sign or bad sign? Should I expect to hear from them soon? Thanks!

I interviewed in late February, but my application status in the online portal still says “Interview Scheduled.” My significant other interviewed in early March and their application status has already updated to say “Interview Complete.”

I’m a little confused by the delay in updating my status. Has anyone else who has completed their interview noticed that their status has not been updated yet?
