Hello all,

Can someone please let me know the word limit for post-MBA questions? I read somewhere on the internet that it is 1000 characters.

It would be great if that could be clarified?

Thanks

I don't think you need to write too much on that question. I just wrote one short paragraph of about 100 words indicating my post-MBA goal and I did not put the reason as the question does not ask. I think it is important to only answer what is asked and not expand too much. Hope it helps.

Hi all, I'm wondering what everyone has made of the information about GMAT Online on Said's website: "All sections of the GMAT/GRE must be taken to be considered valid. Whilst we will accept GMAT Online scores in exceptional individual circumstances, such as stringent local or national lockdown measures, you should aim to take the test in person, as the online test does not include the Analytical Writing component."
I have taken two tests in person but my IR score wasn't where I wanted it on the second, higher score (710 - high verbal, decent quant, 54 percentile on IR and 6 on AWA) so I'm taking it again online. Should I send both the online and the in person scores? I feel concerned because the first time I took it in person, I got a 670 (high verbal, low quant, high IR and 6 on AWA) and didn't cancel so I'm worried how that will reflect.
Thanks in advance for your input!

Hi jbanan

I am assuming that you are applying to full-time MBA at Oxford. I think you are mistaken. What you quoted is true for DPhil in Management. As far as Full time MBA is concerned, both Online GMAT and in-centre GMAT are equally preferred. You can follow this link for further details.

Hope it helps !

Hi guys,

Could someone advice if it's worth applying to R3 at Oxford if you're an Indian or should one rather apply in R1 next year?

What are the odds of getting a good scholarship in R3 too?

It is a very subjective thing to say

The odds of scholarship is definitely lower in R3 than R1 in any school regardless of you being Indian or otherwise

I would say if waiting out an year does not affect your short term plans too much wait for R1... but understand the odds will only be slightly better so you might as well save an year by applying in R3 if you are confident about your application
