Hi everyone was thinking hard about applying to Tepper recently, however obviously I missed the 2nd round deadline. Is there a possibility to request for 2nd round consideration now, since I'm an international applicant and they in fact suggest international students to apply latest by r2?

My application is stuck at review and says "transcript does not verify instruction in English". I am under the impression that TOEFL score will fulfill this requirement. I got 112 on TOEFL so that fulfills the requirements.
Is something else is required?

Your transcript needs to be in English. If it is not, this might be the cause. TOEFL tests your proficiency in English. You transcript needs to be in English so that the ADCOM can review it.

The transcripts are in English. All NITs give transcripts in English but they never explicitly mention that the college is English medium. I guess i have to give Tepper AdComs a call tomorrow because they are just ignoring my emails.

In that case, giving a call is the best option.

There were two waves of interview invitation. I think there already has been one and one more should come.
But, Tepper keeps on giving invites up-till the result date.

All the best!

Does anyone know what is the sorting order that adcoms follow for reviewing application? Is it chronological order? I submitted my application on the 4th Jan and haven't heard anything back. Not even application incomplete email or anything. Could somebody please advise if I should get in touch with the adcom. My application still shows GMAT score report awaiting, although I have sent the report in October 2015.

Thank you.

Looks like the first phase of interview invites were sent until ten days back. My application got complete on Jan 14th. No news yet. Would like to know whether others have any info on interview invites.

Submitted R2. Portal still says scores awaited.

When I contacted Adcom member she said they are yet to match score reports for lot of applications and shudn't worry about it.
Also said interview invites are on a rolling basis till the decision day!

I had the same problem (though for a different University in India). When I contacted the Adcom, they suggested to get a letter issued from the University that the medium of instruction was solely English. I provided a letter from my college as well as University. They accepted and my application now shows complete.

Hope this helps :)

Hi, I'm from an NIT too, and my transcript (rear side) explicitly mentions that the medium of instruction is English, along with other information such as grading policy. You might want to check if you missed that.

Guys, whoever has an issue with transcripts, please talk to adcom and if possible have a call so that you can clarify the doubts then and there.

No point in guessing as nobody apart from adcom knows, not even me - current student at Tepper.

All the best.

So, I was interviewed by someone from the Tepper admissions team last week and I think it went fairly well. Like most other people have said, it was very conversational. You had your "usual suspect" questions asking about your work history, your long-term and short-term goals, experience in teams with people from different cultures / nationalities, why Tepper and for the regular questions, I think that was about it. The interviewer did, however, ask me questions about my company that I did not anticipate, but, was able to answer. For example, "In a few words, summarize what your company stands for". The follow up question to that was "how does your current role align / help the company to achieve its goals". I'm paraphrasing, but it was along those lines.

All the best to everyone.

Hey guys! I got my interview last week (jan/28) and it was quite simple and friendly. The questions were:
1. Describe your current role
2. Short term goals and plan B
3. Why Tepper and why MBA?
4. Unpopular decision and what would have done differently
5. Behavior change due intercultural issues
6. Experience in leading a cross functional team
7. Situation when had to act with lack of information
8. What else that is not on CV your are proud of
9. Any questions?

I guess it was all.

I would not be very concern about not been invited to an interview yet. He let very clearly the march deadline, so I think the process will follow on a rolling basis until there.
