Hello,

Is an action plan required? Did the admission asked for it?

Best,

Hey,

Hello,

My decision note was updated on portal and there is no reference to action plan in the letter. Note that I was waitlisted without interview.

Could you share some of the topics inside the action plan?

Best,

Hey,

Apologies for the late reply. For some reason I'm not getting an email notification when someone replies.

Anyway.

The note basically states that you should self assess your application to find out potential weaknesses and then come up with a strategy to address it. That will form your action plan.

For example, if one of the weakness is your gmat score and you are planning to retake. The action plan would be that you are planning to retake and a possible date by when the new scores will be available. And so on.

Hope this helps. Do let me know if you need any other help.

Also, there is a waitlist webinar on 20th. Please do try and join the same.

Hello,

Thanks, I will join the wailist webinar.

I received an email today with some directions, but nothing clear and straight like an action plan.

Basically, there was a table with some aspects to improve and an open request to evaluate this aspects and make the admissions know if there is any update.

Hi everyone,

The last time I spoke to adcom, they said they have a few waitlist webinars planned with current students who were on waitlist before getting admitted.

Do keep an eye out for these webinars. I think it will be useful in understanding the experience of current student who have successfully come off the waitlist.

Once you have emailed them the proposed action plan, would you receive an email from Cornell confirming they have received the action plan?

Actually I received a feedback. Except for the actions I listed, they suggested me retesting GMAT, but I really had no time to do that. Have no idea how to deal with it.

Oh that’s right! For action plan, they did say “looks great” but other updates, unless a question was asked, nothing

If you did not get a reply, perhaps it meant they are okay with whatever you put in your action plan and expect you to follow your plan. Even I was suggested indirectly to retake GMAT. No other comments on my action plan.

Hi Sorry for my late reply. My GMAT score is 710. They didn't give me a figure, just asking for a higer score.

Will you retake it?
